Thanks to those who got back to me over screen quality etc. Just one more question though. Is it possible to unlock the phone to work on say the orange network? I'm not too sure with it being exclusive to o2 although i cant see it being a problem if the sharps that are exclusive to vodafone can be. Can someone please reply the x3 should be with me on monday and i need to know. Thanks again!

when u av uploaded them av u put them into the music folder otherwise it wont work

Guess I'm just going to upset people here again, 'cause it LOOKS like I'm asking a question answered already.. BUT...
Having uploaded MP3 files to my SD card how the F*ck do you get them to play??! All I get from the phone every time is "No files on card"!!! (And yes they are present.)
So at the risk of irritationg the helpful folks "How do you use that darn MP3 player?"

The phone is excellent. when I read the reveiws on this page I was all set to return it as I had already ordered it. Im glad I didnt. I love it. the mp3 player is great though some mp3s dont work. If I use music match software to convert the mp3s they work fine. the pictures are great I dont know what all the terrible moans are about! so are the movies. My only gripe is Im having trouble playing the movies on my pc. they play fine on the phone. but on the pc they either dont play sound or dont play at all (depending on which video format iv used to record) does anyone know what software will play them on the pc?

i just got the phone today and it rocks. the colour is good on it and the external one too. The picture quality on it is good just that the ringtones aren't good but you transfer more better ones on to the phone anyway. peace !!!

Ringtones Dull! Wallpapers Dull! But you will be pleased to know that the phone cable allows you to use whatever you have on your computer as long as its jpg or wav!! Which is very good!

Is it possible for someone to actually give a decent review on the phone like what the tones are like and how good the screen quality is. After all it is 262,000 colours and i for one would like to know. Are the wallpapers that come with the phone good? Is the external display good? Are the ringtones good? Does the data cable allow you to download new wallpapers/tones? Im sick of hearing about the bloody faults we all get the messsge now.

Taking my 5th phone back to day for a refund. Phone freezes all the time, my games crash. Cant get into sent items. When I try delete sent items in onr go it says delete failed. 5 Phones and still giving me grief. Time for another phone I think

Have read many pages here and the manual but cant find the answer
Only have one issue-
Does any know if it requires mp3's to be at a specific sample rate- tried 64 ok but phone crashes when using mp3's sampled at 48

Does any one know how to play the videos from the phone on the pc? windows media doesnt play the sound and realplayer crashes. is there a program that can play them on the pc?

Woody - re GPRS the signal is not always on as U suggest - its only active (I think) when its sending and receiving data - since its based on RAdio signals you can use the GPRS and also receive calls etc ( the two dont conflict ) it will just stop sending data whereas the old dial up wap tied the actual phone line so you couldnt receive a call -GPRS does not!

james you can get memory card readers from most camera shops.mine cost me £15. still waitin for the adaptor from expansys.com 3 days now.
and fatman how did u get an mp3 sent to ur fone. everytime i try it either doesnt do anything, says file to large to be transferred or your fone doesnt accept this format.plz help!!

Dont we all James!!!Im still waiting for mine!!I reccomend the256 mini sd card as u get free adapters most of the time and they the better Buy!Usually around 30 - 38 quid!

Well i am making an effort to report back as i have had my phone nerley a month now.The Phone is ok with a basic interface.My conclusion is if u want a camara buy 1 dont reli on this phone for pics.The Screen is not crap as someone said here..err the screen is 260 000 colors i think and nothing beats it.Its superb the reason u think its not very good is because the camara aint all that special.If a phone with a decent camara i.e a Nokia 7650 or better sends a pic to u u will see how good this screen actully is!!!Superb!! As for mp3 ive only herd 1 thats been sent to my memory card via infa red because i aint got my mini sd reader yet!!! I like the Phone it aint 100% Perfect but what is?And dont say Sony erricson cus that camara is just as bad as ours(o2x3)Lol anyone wanna reply to me Go Ahead!!! The Fatman

Ben, send it back.
There are lots of bugs which cause the phone to do that, transfering data to and from the PC to the phone causes the same problem.......... except it won't switch on with a sim in it, although it will when it doesn't.

ne 1 help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have an x3 n i send a message closed the flip and the fone crashed it wouldent turn off so i took the batterery out now th e fone wont turn on n wen i plug in the charger it jus make the charging sound evry 2 mins HELP!!!
