I bought this gadged a week ago. It's slow and very unstable (still after upgrade to the latest ROM available on their website). O2 Hong Kong has this 30 day exchange policy which will replace your malfunction one with a new. BUT the thing nobody knows about is that you actually don't get a brand new one which they claim. Instead you will receive a refurbished "new" one. The service person did not wanted to confirm that the device is brand new.... To me this is lying to customers ... And I have never seen so many people exchanging/repairing their devices in a service centre... Think twice if you want to purchase this gadget.......
If you need to rely on this device as a business user it will stretch your nerves...

is this phone have a card slot? (miniSD / memory stick or what ever) because when i asked to the mobile shop here and they said "there isn't any card slot for atom"
is this true?

hey. i just want to know what video file that atom support? i know it can support 3gp and wmv. does it support mp4? when i play my mp4 files, it's lagging and after that can't open the windows media player until i soft reset. pls tell me??

tiz pda phone is really cool..
do u knw tt tiz is e oni pda phones wit a radio, 2 mega pixels camera with LED strobe flash..
N new programs hv oso been added juz for tz phone..
compared to O2 mini, tiz phone rocks...
yepz...

hey guys, what do u think of 02 atom pro? the white chasing one? better or not? u think they've upgrated and better with the black one? is this atom pro already available in singapore? anybody give comments please.. :) thanksssssss

The software upgrade is probably just the latest rom from the O2 Website - there arent any other software upgrades out there.
Also to speed the phone up dont have too many today plug ins running - or at least try it wihtout them and add them a few at a time to see how they affect it.

GOOD NEWS....GOOD NEWS..... hey guys...i too had many problems..with o2...for eg..slow gprs...low volume in fm...hang....wave & mp3 files if set as ringtone use to ring badly...
then i went to o2 service center & upgraded the software.... now no hang up....great volume in fm.... ringtones proper...
so pls upgrade it....
this is a best phone...small..lightweight...& smart..

Guys, sorry and please dun feel offended.02 atom just getting on my nerve..tout to be the next replacement for BenQP50 and a big thing with Window Mobile 5 BUT do you noe that in Spore alone,people are just rushing down to 02 service centre to have all their baby cries attended to?guys,BenQ has come out with P51 just a version above the already stable unit..Keep ur ATOM in the pocket if u saw someone with p50..its a disgrace!

Please tell me which ROM you had upgraded. I'm facing the same problem with the wireless connection. Other than that, it works normal and slow when open application.

To All Atom Users;
Can anyone tell me what could be the problem with the Wi-Fi that it is connected but i cannot open any webpage. It keeps saying that the page cannot be found, please check the name again.
Other than that it works find.
In respond to other Atom Users that have problems.
I am not sure whether the phone is defected or something. But it really does have some problems. But After i upgraded to a better ROM it works find, Faster, other poeple can hear you clearer, no Echo while you are talking on the phone. the Signal works better.
BUT BUT BUT...i am just a simple user, please try to get more advise from the experienced user...It would be much helpful.

if you want a dam good pda phone that works well and does everything you want it to do and don't mind paying the price.......wait for the SE P990.. all previous models were great the new one coming out mid year will be no disappointment by pony and eric hehe.
only one thing have you ever used symbian OS phones before i have i love them only down side is not many applications for it. but then again free apps for windows ph such as atom totally sux. most of the time i don't need extra apps and the ones you got to buy are great. so go figure. if you really want that 3rd party apps you will have to pay for them nothing in life is free.

U might have your firewall running. Try stopping / shutting down your firewall and see if it works.

Hi need help. my O2 atom works fine, but i cannot seem to connect it using active sync. it keeps going in continuos loop saying "connecting". please reply ASAP, thanks in advance

ehmmm.... i am planing to purchase atom mobile... but now i have changed that idea!!! now i need sugestion from all of you abt the nice Pda Phone... ( i mean the Pda phone will be like>>> no errors inside, no bad things or others) thx guys....

My Atom is ok, Running the latest unofficial firmware with wireless manager. Juz wait for this firmware update it will solve a lot of Atom Problem.
