FS,
Is it becos u have too many programmes installed in yr O2. I dunno hard rest how many times before I am finally satisfied with my O2 settings. Have u tried hard resetting it ?
As for the toilet file, I rename it to motivational..hehe..but I dun mind having more...haha...one more thing, your battery pack file is sure a challenge to follow the steps..if I hard reset again, I have to follow through the whole thing again, seriously consider if I wan to install it. What is yr comment on this program ? Good to have it installed? Btw, anyone who is using SD wifi 256MB card now ?

    Hi Adit,
all your requested info can be find in this chat room. pls scroll and read it.

    mp3 as incoming ringtone?
    - the original handset only cater wave file as incoming ringtone
    - BUT dun worry...just by copy a small file into your device then u can set mp3 as ringtone. Very easy steps.

            Dear fs,

correct me if I interpret your ms wrong.
Did you mean you store your music in the SD card, but you also save a copy of the file under My Music within the phone memory?
Trying this mp3 ringtone for more than a week now, made me very frustrated.

One weird thing is that I cannot assign ringtone in SD card if powersafe, however, I can assign photos from my SD card even if powersafe. Has anyone try this before?

            Thanks,
            Fred

              Dear Mel,

As I ask the technician from O2 Hong Kong this afternoon. They told me the contact will automatically assign to Windows Default if the phone is in Powersafe.
This is because when an incoming call comes in. The mini will turn on, however, the phone won't have time to search for the assign ringtone in your SD card. That's why if the phone has been powersave, all the contact will goes to Windows Default.
Correct me if I am wrong.

I've had this phone for just over a week and I think it's great. I've had no problems as of yet and everything I've downloaded from my laptop is running fine. Need a silicone cover though. Only seem to be available in Hong Kong.

                      Hmm...is that so ?
How come in powersave mode, when I tried using my housephone which has been assigned a ringtone to call my cell, it goes into the default window tone rather than the assigned mp3 song.

                      Puzzling..

                        hi steve,
if u really look for PDA, i suggested u to buy HP iPAQ HX4700 (aro RM2400, i can get RM2200).
This is really a super good PDA run on Intel Bulverde processor 624MHz!!! And more power full. It comes in with wifi ready to use.
U can check the more details specs at www.hp.com

                          Mel,
                          tell u franky......
for photo contact, i store the mp3 files in SD card, when i run the photo contact and assigned the ringtone it outo move the file assigned ringtone to internal memory under My Music directory!

and yesterday i downloaded a file into windows directory, then i can use MP3 file as my defult ringtone. No matter powersave mode or wat, it still work perfect.

                            FS,
Yes, its comes with the cable but I dont want to bring it along cos its cumbersome. I saw one that is supershort and mini just for this mini.haha..can be used as a keychain. Its cute and easy to attach to yr mini.
As for yr MP3 that can be set as ringtone, can u powersave yr mini and try asking someone whose number has been programme in yr phone and already assigned a Mp3 ringtone to call u? see if the ringtone is the default one or the assigned one? where do u save yr ringtone to ?SD card or the main? if yrs can work, then u are the saviour man !!! waiting for u to teach us..

                                Hi Mel,
why u need to buy a USB cable? this already come in with the box, rite?

                                Hi Steve,
XDA mini run on win mobile 2003 SE, so u can have many software and application download into your device. BUT u only hav 64M shared internal memory, of course u may get a external MMC or SD cards.

XDA mini (RM2688)doesn't come with wifi. Only XDA IIs come with wifi (RM3588). But XDA mini has a build in network cards which can auto configure once u slot in the SD wifi card. If u buy a SD wifi card with 256M memory (aro RM500) u can get on line with your stremyx or hot spot.
I'm working in Penang. But not selling phone or PDA. If u r in KL, just go to Sunway Piramid to find PDA Specialist. I said tat bcause when i was in KL, i engaged them b4, and i find they hav a good service n hav many win 2003SE softwares for O2 XDA II mini.

I just bought this phone couple days ago. So far so good except the hand writing system is a bit hard to get used to when comparing to palm's.

How to configure MP3 tones to be assigned to your photo contacts. A problem I faced when I put the songs into my SD card is that whenever someone calls you and your O2 is in powersafe mode, the ring tone will be the default windows tone.An alternative is to disable the powersave mode in the settings/system/battery/advanced/uncheck the turn off device if not used for box. Then go and get yrself a mini usb cable for any charging needs. Btw, I saw a post somewhere that someone bought a mini USB cable, was it fotonutz? Where did u buy it ?
