Dear Mel,

Thanks for your help.
But I have double check from sim manager.
I do not have any contacts stored in the sim card.
May I ask you what's the path where you store those mp3 ringtone?

Thanks so much.
Fred

    Fred,
    What I did was delete my numbers from my sim card after I transfer it to my Mini. Then I assigned the Mp3 song to the contacts then it works. I used to have same contact in both places, the sim and the O2. Maybe thats the cause of the problem. Try it out.

      Dear FS,

      Thanks for your suggestion.
      You are right, what I mean by turn off is Power Save Off.
      What I did is exactly when you suggested.
      In the photo contact, I assigned love.mp3 to Mr. K and love.mp3 to Mrs. S.
      After a few minutes idle, it will power save off. When Mr K calls in, only windows default ringtone will play, but not love.mp3.

      Does it have to do with where I stored love.mp3? I stored love.mp3 under Storage Card->Ring Folder.

      Thanks in advance for your help.
      Really appreciate your help.

          hi..Mel
          ?!??!?...when u click "file explorer" on your upper left, pls scroll and find "My device".
          WOW.ww.ww...16M for .wav file?!!? u must be crazy. This will kill your internal memory (64M shared for program & storage). for sms, use those less than 100K .wav will fine.
          I have a very sharp & loud .wav file. If u may interested, pls email me.
          By the way, u can configure the incoming SMS to perform vibrate or flash ligh.

            OK, for those who still have problems accessing your Yahoo, goto www.pbase.com/fotonutz to see a step by step instruction.

            Guess I miss out the Mail Option portion in Yahoo website.

            Sorry

              to all mini XDA II user..

              those complain on the camera pictures quality. Pls note that if u get a picture under a good lighting u will surprise to see it in your screen. Also pls note that, the picture quality is not judge by look at your mini XDA II screen. to compare, u should view pic in your PC.

              those complain on the speakers....then I fully agreed! Really SUCK!!n8zun09u[mu[ey[re&^)&@^!#_*(&_ !!!!!!! I used to miss my calls !! (used P900 previously)

              - pls email me if anyone may want to have the below freeware (full version)
              => chinese chess
              => Omega One Battery Pack (some trick requested)
              => MohairSofa Calendar +

              To avoid your PDA "hang", suggested to watch out your internal memory! always buffer 10% empty space.

                to..????
                regarding the photo contact to assign ring tone mp3 , midi or wav file.
                - sorry, i have no ideal why u want to turn off? Or u try to mention power save turn off?
                - i encountered this issue before. U see, in the photo contact, when u run it, it will show all contacts entry,from our internal (PDA) and SIM card.
                - what i do is, let say...
                => Mr. K (contact)=> assigned "love.mp3"
                Mr. K (SIM) => assigned "love.mp3"
                - with this double assigned ringtone to one person, then it works!
                ***let me know if u may encounter problem again after do so...

                    Dear Fotonuz,

                    I read your previous msg about assigning ringtone. But I got a question hope that you can help me out.
                    I stored all the mp3 ringtone in the Storage Card.
                    then I had assign ringtone to different person using photo contact.
                    But then, each time when the O2 turn off, all the assigned ringtone will change to windows default automatically.
                    Does anyone know why this happen?
                    Thanks in advance for your help.
                    Great Appreciated.

                                      I don't know why, after I tried a hard reset,
                                      my mini starts to reset every single day,
                                      that means "everyday is a new day"... man
                                      it's horrible. It happens after I put it on
                                      the charger overnight... did anyone happen
                                      before?

                                        I was just surfing the web looking for stuff for the mini and stumbled across this site:

                                        http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=16569

                                        It says its a patch that allows you to set MP3 as ring tones. I can't test this as I dont have the mini yet. But for those who have, please do so. If it works spread the news. If not, then I'll just have to keep searching.
