Hi ,
can someone tell what to try when a O2 stealth got switched off due to low battery,
and when tried switching it on again after charging, it hangs on O2 welcome screen.
Tried lot of flip flops by replacing battery,
and other thing but it still freeze up on same point, Thanks for your time to read.

I have purchased O2NOVA last week,
The features are really superb...
But the OS is in german,
Can anyone help me out... how to convert Operating system to English.

not suitable to use as a mobile phone. but it is good for other purposes.

i got problem with my O2 XDA Stealth...while typing sms or emails, its just coming in numeric form and not in alphabetic form.help me please..contact me on fajar_ans@yahoo.co.id

There's no service back up for O2 in New Delhi, India. Phone's too good but no battery life.

Hi All,
My O2 XDA Stealth when switched on has the blue ( welcome screen) and it stays there.I tried hard reset ( pressed windows + OK button) and used stylus to press the reset ,but its still showing the blue screen and not switching on.Anybody can you please help,email me jjohny0@yahoo.com

good phone for staying organise and surfing net or multimedia player. not good for business people, will lag.

hi
i just bought a second hand o2 stealth, i dont regret buying it. overall i think it is a great phone, but if u are always on the run the battery life kind of sucks. it lags when u are running over 5 things. yes the camera sucks, but if ur looking for good camera phone get n95 , etc. anyways the phone runs perfectly fine for me its just once in a while it lags. if you are a really busy person and will rely on this phone, i wont recommend it to you. if it is for checking email, surfing the net, staying organise, etc.

mate, sorry to hear of the last posters situation. Ive just gotten my 4 month old O2 back (it took a number of weeks to get it to service coz i was busy with work and had a backup phone).. speakers replaced, RF main board, all software done .. but forget to tell them that was on my list ..the screen is loose! be interesting to see how long the newly repaired phone will last me. After all .. the atom exec i had .. packed it in early in the piece.

I bought this phone in March this year and I don't have 1 problem with it. I have a lot of problems!!! The keypad suck cause it so flat, it just goes coming with the wrong key press. The backlit just does not listen to your settings. When it reset, it will not boot, I have to remove the battery and reinsert it before it can reboot. AHhhh!!! I have to get rid of it for 50% lose~~~!!! :'(

i just buy the phone. but i unable to synchorinze through the phone through bluetooth, also connect use the phone as modem. Can anybody help me?

Hi. I bought my Stealth in May 2007 from StarHub Singapore. Just thought I'd voice my comments about this phone and its service centre in my home country.
The phone is quite good in terms of functionality. It plays WMV and MP4. It does get laggy with Advanced Simple Profile. Will test H.264 in a while. However, my main gripe with it is that its screen merely dims after receiving sms-es. I have asked for support from the O2 helpdesk. Their response was a no-brainer: Telling me to tweak the settings for backlight (e.g. turning backlight off after 5 secs of inactivity). Sometimes, I'd receive an sms in the middle of the night, and when I awake the next day, the battery levels are already dangerously low. My workaround is to turn off the phone carrier (StarHub) before I sleep. Simply put, it is no longer a phone but my PDA/ alarm clock at night. I resume Home Network the next morning.
Another glaring thing to note about O2 is their technical support. In SG, the O2 Helpline is manned only by machines (I'm serious). They'd say "Dial 1 for XXX, Dial 2 for YYY". After repeated attempts, they would apologize that you've reached the time limit of the service call. I did as the machine instructed (awfully dumb of me). I headed down to Parco Bugis Junction to service my phone. Alas, the shopfloors (both units) have already been leased to other owners. Apparently, no one from O2 Singapore bothers about updating their contact details.
I did manage to locate the servicing centre. It's near Jurong East Interchange, next to IMM building (CJ GLS Building #07-01). But their service standards were horrid. I had to wait in-queue for an hour. There were just 2 receptionists attending to the crowd. In the short hour I was there (afternoon of Dec 1st), I witnessed 3 complain cases. An affluent elderly man threatened the floor manager with a report to CASE. He raised his voice so loud that everyone present could not miss him. An Indian couple nearly bit the manager's head off as they ranted that it was their 4th visit to the centre (for the same problem.) The managers and receptionists like to come up with the excuse, “Mdm, since your phone is no longer under warranty, you would have to foot the full charges”. (But it was still under warranty during their first visit a month ago. Phone still had the same fault.) Another Chinese couple was made to wait. Simply to wait unendingly because the mysterious bespectacled technician in the backroom couldn't forecast a time he'd finish the repairs. No one on the shop floor was happy. Not even the staff.
I feel that the service centre really needs a wake up call. O2 in Singapore does seem only to be interested in the customers when they purchase the handsets. You would realise that there was no way you could contact the servicing centre, except by taking a trip down to their offices.
The receptionists were most unfriendly. There was a rather plump Chinese who simply could not care about the customers requests. She would slap you with a standard reply stating that "This or that cannot be done because it would not clear with the auditing team." "I would need to open a job case for your request. It is procedure." "I do not know when your phone will be ready. Only the technician will know."
I fully understand their plight, as they are subject to audit like a regular company. But as a regular service-oriented company, they should also value the customers. (O2, are you listening? Maybe you should review the sub-contracting of your phone servicing to MDR.) I'm quite certain, my next phone will not be an O2. If it isn't obvious at this point in time, it's due to the after-sales support.
Oh, and another thing. If I'm not mistaken, the phones that had issues belonged to the O2 XDA Flame. In fact, all O2 PDA phones have this problem. None of the customers knew that programs continued running in the background even when they are closed. They can only be closed by accessing a menu that lists all running programs (WM5). With O2 Plus installed, there is a more rapid way to closing all running processes from the Today menu.
The Stealth is a good phone. But my next phone would definitely not be from O2. Perhaps the touted Sony Ericsson P1i. Then again, MDR seems to service O2, BENQ-Siemens, and Sony Ericsson. Their servicing centres are also located at CJ GLS Building #07-01. I'm betting their customer services aren't that much different from O2's.

once you upgrade it its great. The phone does not hang at all. only when you run TOO may programs at once. overall its a great phone. also, if you usb cover cam off just superglue it back on, works like a charm.

try calling the O2 service centre to ask them how to reset ur phone
they will help u =)

Friends, I have tried many windows mobile products from HP, O2 and Palm. Of all these PDA/Phones I would any time prefer palm. But however friends I would prefer Sony Ericsson and Nokia. PDA phones windows or palm, dont give you voice clarity, camera performance, stability, very very friendly user interface, one hand operation ( ease of use ), T9 sms writing, personal settings such as ringtones etc. You settle for speed and loose all the basics which you require the most in daily use. Think over it.
