i bought this pda a year ago.. yeah! wm5 sucks.. but after upgrading it to wm6 3 months ago it works excellent. and a 2gb storage card really2 help. but i do have two complaint on this pda:
1. the qwerty keyboard is not a finger friendly type, i had to press it hard on some of it and then it'll appear.. suck!!
2. now my free internal mem. is abt 20mb, i want to download through wifi some larger files which exceeds my free internal mem, is there a way you can download this files directly to the '2gig' storage card?
please help.. and email me for suggestion and link of some good software..

upgrade to wm6 rom, you'll never curse it after upgrading.. :) hopefully

i bought the mobile on 28/09/07 and since i took it it have been in maintenance more than with me
the main proplem i face is:
1- when i try to call it tells : network service not available try again later wven when some body call it tells that the phone is off so i have to soft rest.
2- it hangs alot.
3- some times when i calls the speaker keep coming on & of and i cannot talk to the caller .
i appreciate if anybody can help me to get rid of this problems.

Yeah, this O2 Zinc has speaker function, when you make a call, please press and hold calling button for some seconds and speaker phone will be activated

does this pda has speakerphone? about 3 years ago I used O2 mini and satisfied with it (less problem found compared to dopod). I'm considering on getting O2 Zinc because it also has a qwerty keyboard. I don't really need the 'complicated' stuff, just the standard s: phone, messaging, mass storage (of course) and big screen. o yeah, and WiFi. I need that too. the rest i don't really mind :P thanks to whoever's reading and replying this post :)

Hi there, I'm using 4gig for memory expansion but it didn't lagged. No need to install divx (bec. of limited file associations) install core player (TCMPI) it plays almost all file types, been having problem playing mpeg4 though its included in its file associations.

Hi again, already bought a 2gb miniSD card... it works perfectly... i could put-in lots of videos(.AVI,.WMV,.3GP,.MP4 and etc.)and music(.AAC,.MP3,.WAV,and etc.)

its cool... but not sure whether usin a 2gb memory card will lagged... hey i heard this phone can do magic... any1 willin to share some good sites or software especially the tv thing... plz mail me at boytiara@hotmail.com i really need help

highly recommended app for avi files is Core player best player for audio and video get the 1.1 version 1600 build it now supports a2dp and avrcp:) i dont know why there were alot of bad reviews for this device..its a great device especially after upgrading to wm6

hi! try installing a Divx Player... you will be able to play .AVI movies... but i do recomend that you first convert it to a Pocket Pc friendly .AVI movie file so that you would not be wasting your storage card space... i suggest SMARTMOVIE CONVERTER so to convert those .AVI files for PC for a friendly Pocket PC size... Ty!

hi again, already using this phone with the latest ROM which is WM6.0, it's working great i can even do MOBILE TV with these phone, it's just awesome it's really amazing what you can do if you just know how to look for it and by the amazing technical support team from O2 both E-MAIL and Customer Service Support...

I bought it through starhub promotion and find this a decent pda with lots of useful features. This is my first PDa phone. Battery life is ok. Can last 2-3 days if you dont use the wireless and talk too much..

i juz bought this xda zinc phone last 2 weeks ago. basicaly, it hang all d time, even i sent chinese text msg. need to b soft reset at least one time per day.
features is goods but seem like wm6 doesn't work properly or got software bugs.
finally, don't buy this phone if u wanna get pda phone.
