In short, waste of money.
Extremely bad antenna - signal reception like on ALL previous OnePlus phones, eg.Samsung or iPhone at the same location with same mobile carrier have a lot better signal.

Camera is mediocre at the best. Poor focusing, blurry images around the edges regardless of the settings. Hasselblad logo is just a logo - special H shooting mode enables some manual control, but that's like you download any better camera from google store than android original camera (which is pretty bad).

Durability horrible. Phone is very prone to flexing, doesn't feel sturdy at all.

My wife has OnePlus 9 and I will not even try to explain how bad that phone is.

Hi guys, I need some help to make a decision here. I'm from Sri Lanka, & I recently purchased the OnePlus 10 Pro Extreme Edition (Panda White - 512 GB ROM/12 GB RAM) for 210,000 LKR. After purchasing it, I realized that the OnePlus 11 is already available in my country, 16 GB RAM 256 GB ROM for about 235,000 LKR (25K more expensive than what I purchased). Now my question - do you believe an upgrade is worthwhile? I love the future proof nature of the OnePlus 11, but then again, I'm wondering whether LTPO3 & SD Gen 2 is really worth 25K more than what I purchased, for a lesser ROM at that. Any options, feedback, advise would really help.

Oneplus used to be special cos of the cyanogen os then the snappy oxygen os. Now it's full of bugs and makes no difference with oppo phones. I've been a loyal fan since the beginning, now I've diverted to another brand. Oneplus will simply dissolve like nokias. Stubborn and stupid moves. Good luck surviving!!!

The camera of this phone seem to be better than the S23 series judging from some YouTube videos reviews that I have seen. Can't wait to own it..

Is 24-bit/192kHz audio on the op11 an issue if Im used to record a bunch of audio with my phone? (No added external mic).

For people like me who just needs performance and fluidity and flagship capability for Audio and Video, this is one hell of a bang for your buck buy. I am also the type of person who unknowingly was able to take care of his phone well so IP64 is more than enough. I like this smartphone.

I think that combined with these benefits it is enough to overlook the superiority of OneUI. ColorOS/OxygenOS may be a little buggy but it's not 'the end of the world' and does not make the S23+ the better choice.

IQ200, 27 Mar 2023S23 is one of 2 or 3 the most compact phones out there, so ... moreThe Pixel 7 Pro is an OK phone only, the charging is really slow and outdated, also the Tensor 2 is about 30% slower and much more power hungry than the 8G2. I agree with you about the camera, however, only marginally as OnePlus has really closed the gap based on what I experienced with the 11 for the brief time when I tested it.

The biggest things going for the Pixel 7 Pro is the clean OS (assuming you can accept Google's bloat), open environment which allows easy flashing and continuing on Lineage OS when Google cuts off updates and still the camera to an extent.

These things are a personal preference though and in my case since I am not bothered by the new Oxygen OS (aka ColorOS), I would take the OnePlus 11 if I currently needed a new phone as the camera is almost as good and everything else is superior really. That having been said, my current OnePlus 7 Pro runs great on Lineage OS 20 (Android 13 QPR2) and even the cameras perform like on the stock firmware. I can easily see myself using the 7 Pro for 3 more years if the updates continue because like you said, any recent top of the line chipset is more than enough for just about all tasks and if I need a serious camera, I will just get a point and shoot digital camera which will be superior to any phone. I consider the Pixel's openness and custom firmware support a big deal though as I keep my phones for a long time and if Google catches up hardware wise, my next phone is definitely a large Pixel. These are my 2 cents and I like to follow this industry even though I don't upgrade very often.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2023I didn't say the S23 Ultra is junk, that is a great ph... moreS23 is one of 2 or 3 the most compact phones out there, so please don't compare that to Oneplus 11 brick solely spec by spec. Agreed on the S23+ part though.

For me personally choosing between Samsung's bloated and kinda slow-ish One UI and Color OS would be really hard as neither of those are my thing. I was in love with OnePlus and its Oxygen back then when I used OnePlus 6T.

I had many [(smart) phones] so far, from all sorts of brands, Westerns and Chinese, but 6T was near perfection for me. I've never been so satisfied with a phone like 6T and for such a long period of time. I bought it because I was looking for alternative for my dying Xperia XZ. Okay, I'm lying. On top spots my all time favorites are Nokia 6310i and Nokia N73. Damn, sometimes I really miss Symbian OS.. lol... Anyways, I've tried using a "new" Color OS on newer OnePlus devices (Nord 2T) but it just doesn't fit me well. Or if I being honest, at all. Maybe because I was using a mid-range device instead of flagship like I used to, but just saying. And if I may notice, their phones aren't what they used to be if I'm talking about "a really good value for the buck". I mean, they practically build their name on so called "flagship killers" which are nowhere to be seen for a long time. That role almost took the Poco with their F series.

OnePlus 11 is a good phone no doubt, but for the price I would rather go for Pixel 7 Pro or even a smaller one as I don't like big phones a.k.a. bricks, but those have really good camera results so I have them in my mind or even better a new Pixel 8 which is roumorued to be compact with its 150mm x 70mm dimensions. Spec by spec OnePlus 11 would easily take the victory there, but benchmarks aren't telling the whole story. Also, my priorities changed over years. I don't chase the highest possible GHz's or GB's of RAM like I used to since the first .. smartphone, because every flagship chipset after 2020. has more then enough of power for every task, even gaming but not on the highest possible settings of course. So, what was I saying.. Ah right, so with wife and kids running around, I'm much more camera oriented guy now, so in that case OnePlus doesn't have anything to offer which is confusing. What's OnePlus next move? You know, It just seems they don't have a stable business strategy in long term.

                                        Just my 10 cents.
                                        Cheers!
