No ultrasonic fingerprint, no 5x telephoto, no ip68 rating , who gives us 2.0 in 2023 flagship. Utterly disappointed by oneplus

Finally OnePlus offering a phone at a competitive price point
This is an actual flagship killer and I kinda dig it's unique design tbh
Also official Oneplus site says it has Gorilla Glass Victus protection, please fix it GSMA

More like killed by any flagship.
At least the pricing isn't tooo bad imo (580 is okay-ish for an upper midrange phone)

There are many other phones with similar performance but for half the price. Why should I pay $1K for a 12MP boxy 4:3 camera. These 4:3 images fit nowhere. Computers have 16:9 screens, even the phones have taller screens themselves. 4:3 is a joke, a garbage. You can still capture in full screen mode but the resolution drops to 7-8 MP or lower. it's a NO.

I always laugh when i see expected price, in this case 550 euro. Of course of course...
For 550euro i would just buy it immediately, but as always, real price will be much higher.

"Reality is often disappointing". Man I actually thought they'd be finally adding some new standard hardwares like usb 3 or laser af. Even a proper ip rating. 1+ has truly become just another garbage iqoo, realme.

This phone is pretty poor. It's perfectly mediocre, and another perfect analogy for Oneplus settling. It's got the fundamentals nailed, but the camera is just lazy. Giving it just "Okay-fast" charging is also pretty lazy. This phone is just pretty lazy, and while it has a flourish in the shape of a pretty flashy design, that's everything special about this phone. Nothing separates this from a generic iQOO rebrand; okay camera, fast wired charging, medium/large-ish battery, fast chip, and a decent screen.
A Oneplus flagship used to be as exciting. How far they've fallen.
