I have been using OP9 Pro for the last 2 years and it has been great. Now I am upgrading to 12 as the wireless charging is back and battery performance is improved. 1+ seems nicer to use than Samsung phones which I had from work for the last few years. Less preloaded software.
The new phone seems very good in every sense. The price is quite steep in Europe but hopefully it will be worth it. I got €500 worth headphones with pre order and 2 years warranty so overall the deal is unbeatable.

$799 for a phone with such specs is an absolute bargain. Unfortunately the market demands them to go lower simply because of brand name. Apple production cost per unit is substantially lower, but brand name gives them an edge. Oneplus I believe is breaking even to just meet customer expectations. Customers expecting lower prices at such economic times could mean danger if we focus on long run. Such companies might face issues in balancing their books. I have been a oneplus fan, ever since the Op 3T , yes Oxygen OS has dwindled somewhere in between, but they are doing remarkable stuff. $799 🤯🤯 is insanely a good price

Can't buy a phone that has no screen protector designed for it because of the curved display. Also ever since using the 10t 125w charging 25% to 90% in 10 min I can find a reason to throw $800 away when I got a 10t for $400...
The alert slider is ruined unless your left handed now too. Not that I miss it much after getting used to not having one.
Only true benefit to op12 is ip65 rating and supposedly improved camera.
Last 3 generations of 1+ have more than enough performance to withstand any amount of app stress. For 10t, 8gb ram is minimalist, but sufficient. You shouldn't be running 30+ apps concurrently anyway.

rely carved Screen the phone is fantastic for me every thing on it is perfect but I wont bay it the only reason is the carved screen I hoop oneplus and other phone manufacture to leasin to as user carved screen is not reliable it brake easy and you cant find a goads screen protector and if you find it is as expensive as new display no one need it please, you loose your costumers even Samsung lessened and you steal think it is boatful no it is not.

Curved screens are so fragile and prone to break.. plus for curved screens there is this whole issue about not finding screen protectors.
Can someone please recommend for normal daily usage should I go for Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro+, Asus ROG 8 or Nubia Red Magic 9.
My simple requirement is a flat screen mobile, Corning Victus/Gorilla protection and a snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as a must.. That's it..
Guys please suggest (I don't do any gaming at all)

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2024Not everyone likes flat screens. I much prefer curved screens The only time I preferred a curved screen was on the 7T Pro McLaren 5G. No camera cutout and that curved display was just beautiful. Too bad it was absolutely allergic to water and we'll never get anything like that again. Everyone has jumped aboard the hole-punch train.
