Oneplus scam us by telling usf 4.0 on one 12r in 256gb and actually its usf storage 3.1

HEADS UP TO BUYERS: Apparently OP has pulled a case of False advertising for its 16 GB variants, so buyers please be aware it's a standard 3.1 UFS storage for 256GB variant. The same has been updated on its Indian website as well in specs. Companys product team has issued a clarification, some bs about real time usuage being the same as UFS 4.0. Yeah so OP is screwed, with so many people having paid extra for the extra space/storage speed, sad thing is there seems to be no accountability to the issue, like no option of refund. Not expected from a brand like OP

Just giv... moreWhile I usually recommend poco, here there is no competition. op has Snapdragon which is imo better processor as phone ages. Mediatek slows down and after 1-2 years phone lags like hell. Also build quality and camera as better in op. Except having higher storage on base variant, poco is just good vfm at that price point because there aren't many options, so major cons: a mediocre camera, Xiaomi's infamous bloatware and a processor that isn't optimised for gaming or future proof

The performance is similar in multiple aspects, but it is not better. (Not to mention stuff like the screen, materials, etc) X6 Pro is a good solid option for the price, but there's a reason why this one is more expensive.

Also the blue colour isn't even available on the OnePlus website... Only the grey. Really OnePlus??
I think the Poco X6 Pro is a much better deal than this device and almost as powerful. Also about half the price too and has a larger ultrawide field of view.

"As per checking this offer is for existing OnePlus customer and before purchasing the device you have to login to red cable account and claim the voucher and while placing an order in online you have to apply the voucher while purchasing. Since you have already purchased the device in offline store you will not be able to avail that voucher"
So I had bought it from Offline store...lol, so not applicable for me. As I was an existing customer they credited some coupon specific for OP12 (face palm)

700€ for a Gen 2 in 2024?
I bought a 256/8gb Poco X6 Pro for 319€ a week ago. Literally has a chipset that goes close up against the gen 2 in this one and is under half the price.
This thing is also still stuck on USB 2.0, so what extra am I getting for the 380€ difference aside the 8gb RAM, LTPO and aluminum? :D

Ok so it's got the £50 Oppo Kevlar case and the free clear case that came in the box. Yes, I use two cases.
Only reason I'm here is due to end of update life. Nearly three years is decent, longest I've had a phone.
This 12R is my next though, and if it lasts I'll flash a ROM and see if it outlives me.
Good luck doing that with your locked bootloaders.
