OnePlus 3 update with sRGB mode and better RAM management isn't rolling out anymore

Vlad, 05 July, 2016

Yesterday was a good day for OnePlus 3 owners, because the Chinese company announced the start of the over-the-air rollout for a new software update, Oxygen OS 3.2. This brings with it some much-requested features, including the ability to enable sRGB mode, along with much better RAM management and many other things.

Today there's some bad news about this update, however. It turns out that the rollout has been stopped for now, because OnePlus has received "some reports of issues while upgrading". The company promises that it's investigating those problems, though it hasn't detailed what they are unfortunately.

And until this investigation is concluded, Oxygen Os 3.2 isn't headed to OnePlus 3 devices in the wild anymore. OnePlus says the rollout will commence again as soon as possible, but it's unclear exactly how long it will take for it to go out once more. Also not sure is how many OnePlus 3 units already got the new release, since the OTA rollout was supposed to conclude within 48 hours of starting.

sRGB in OP3 is somehow modified from usual sRGB, some colors like white are too yellow. Well, little tweaks there and there.
