PROS; its fast. battery is awesome,
CONS : front camera is below average, rear is just fine
Overall a good phone for performance thats it ! gaming superb
the chipset 821 and 6gb ram and battery is the shinning point
not for photography lovers, or for multimedia experience

I bought this phone, from a secondhand mobile shop, in Malaysia, for rm740, in 2018. Rose gold with 64gb internal storage.
Love the 6gb ram. The screen is lovely too.
The sour candies are the weight of this phone. The lack of expandable storage slot. Thats all I guess.
About the battery, well every phone needs to change the battery when it's pretty old. Like 3 years old. Totally natural.
This phone, It was a major upgrade for me, who had only phones with 2gb ram and 3gb ram, back then. It was buttery silky smooth, even though I got it as a secondhand phone. I tried using pixel rom, it was great but I miss the feature when my phone screen would "light up" just by tilting the phone. Thus I switched back to the official rom from oneplus. I didnt turn back.
Other than that, I use it as a work phone/ class phone. Suitable for the learning and working environment, if you need basic tasks done. Once I needed to edit videos and photos, this phone was totally up to the task.
Now, in 2020, it seems the battery juice drains much faster than usual. Random lags. 64gb internal just wont cut it anymore when you cant expand storage. Maybe its time to change the battery but I will keep using it until its kaput or when that 6gb of ram, just won't do.

One of the best I've ever used and till now I am using.
My current Android Version is 9 and OxygenOS version is 9.0.6 so stable and smooth.
Question please, what is the expected next OxygenOS version will be?

The newest update is 9.0.6 . Still warm in hand, 37° to 40° with single SIM and connect to WIFI.
Bad battery backup. Plan to buy a new battery pack. But, where?

had it until this month of 2019 , But I bought it in December of 2016 and I have no regrets about the 439$ I spent. The phone lasted me 3 years with constant updates until recently and performance always remained snappy. Games ran fine pretty well until 2018-2019 where I started experiencing slowdowns in some software, crashes especially in android 10. Gonna miss the 3T since it was my first smart phone ever.

I bought it on 28 october 2019 and update the software to oxygen 9.0.5 Android version 9.0 pie. It's working great having 2 sim. One problem i face is the blur back camera but i fix it by using magnet trick. Performance is great and smooth. I am very happy as this is my first OnePlus device.
