I want to purchase a OnePlus 3T US model for use with T-Mobile or possibly AT&T. How do I identify the US model? I expect I will purchase from ebay.

Am using this since its initial launch in Dec 2016... so almost 4yrs now.
+ AMOLED is fantastic.
+ 6GB RAM is still good enuf.
+ UI with GPU Adreno 530 ...
this above combo works very well. extensively used to play PUBG, RealRacing3, etc
+ 3.5mm audio jack .. I use it all the time. Would never switch to Bluetooth / battery ones.
+ speaker mode for movies and for calls still works brilliantly
+ Battery sustains well. I do keep many of the background non-sense things off (eg weather update)
- No updated after Android 9. (unless you do rooting and install custom ROMs etc. .. I have not done it yet, since didnt feel desperate need yet)
- Main back Camera started focus issue , and had to get the camera module replaced once at the service center.
- the metallic mesh on the ear piece got dusty/rusty (due to my rough use in wet conditions I think)... just poked 4-5 minor holes and it did the trick :)
I am not a big selfie buff. .. Cameras in some of the newer phones are obviously better now.

Just thought I'd point out the issues I had with my 3T (everything else is great besides these):
- Rear camera - seems to get smeared and I need to wipe it clean often
- Front camera - after a while dust gets inside (common problem)
- Notification slider - unfortunately you can't customise this. Eg I'd like it to enable vibrate when it's all the way down, and loud to be all the way up. It's the opposite and can't be changed, and seems counter-intuitive.
- My screen was very temperamental to touch (eg some points weren't responsive). This may have just been my unit though.

I had a cracked back lens window which I easily bought a replacement on ebay for £5 and fixed myself. Of course check it is clean too.
My issue is with the power button which has stopped working, most noticeably when battery runs down completely and then 1 in 100 presses will get the charged phone to turn on again. In normal operation I have other shortcuts to get the screen on (connect usb, double tap, reprogrammed buttons, volume wake..) Apart from this minor detail I love this phone!

The One Plus 3T has a been a good piece of technology since 2017 for me. The battery duration for my daily usage is good enough, it lasts 10 to 12 hrs. I don´t need to carry a charger with me all day long, which is great. The 16MP camera takes awesome pictures, the color quality is impressive, for the average user this quality is more than enough, to take good photos for social media and sharing with friends. The Snapdragon 821 processor with 6Gb ram has been more than enough to use Whatsapp, Facebook & Instagram. The One Plus 3T has been the best investment I have made in a piece of technology. Despite being 3 years old (which could be an eternity for technology gadgets), it is still a functional and robust cell phone. I will wait for the next release of OnePlus Nord to acquire a new cell phone.

Pixel 1 and OnePlus 3t have same Snapdragon 821 processor now pixel 1 update to Android 10 but OnePlus 3t still on Android 9. Is therebany hope to provide official update from OnePlus to 10.
