          I am posting it here as most who buy online refer GSM ARENA for mobiles atleast. One Plus is moderately costly brand , and here is the truth. Like most of big brands it has too outsourced its after sale service and have no direct office locally. The phone reported charging issues in few months and being android consumption of battery hugely is obvious. Now another common issue, lower portion of touch stops working.
          Pathetic , i went with my One Plus One whose lower touch stopped working. I found it a common problem on internet forums. Reached Auth Service center, waited till they are over with their lunch holding my Token. Atlast they said , parts not available, throw the phone, cant help. They gave me cost of the parts 7000. I went to Chandni and got it repaired @2000/-, its working fine now. But i wont blame service center, I will blame the company, One Plus. really pathetic. Madan Street are saviour of Iphone and costly phones. May be it will help my friends till these companies keeps cheating people.

                      If anyone else is as paranoid as you then all they have to do is go to Settings/Advanced and switch OFF the option 'Join user experience program'.
                      It doesn't bother me because I have nothing to hide, but it certainly sounds as if you have.

                        No doubt few mobile phone companies r collecting ur mobile data like ur personal information, activities like ur locations where you went, contact nos etc. even many popular brands r doing this practice which is illegal and prohibited.
                        Recently, it has been observed by the security researchers that OnePlus smart phone is running on Oxygen Operating system, which regularly collects user identification information and sends it to OnePlus servers located outside your respective country and might be possible gives to intelligence agencies.

                        OnePlus collects the following user data;
                        1-User’s phone number. 2-Users movement. 3-Media Access Control (MAC) Address. 4-IMEI and IMSI Code. 5-Mobile Network(s) names. 6-Wireless network ESSID and BSSID. 7-Device Serial Number. 8-Timestamp when a user locks or unlocks the device. 9-Timestamp when a user opens and closes an application on this phone.
                        9-Timestamp when a user turns his phone screen on or off.

                        It is advised that please avoid using this brand or in order to disable data collecting practice.

                              Kanika Jain, 09 Dec 2017Which is better iphone 7 or OP5thard to explain... These phones are about equal in terms of fotos. The iphone 7 has IP rating, not the oneplus 5T. But the oneplus 5T is faster in every level and plays gamer smoother.
                              IOS is nice but i like the diversity of android.
                              I've gone with the oneplus 5T and never regret since. Gotta love that screen and it's beast performance. Not even once it crashed or hiccup'd. Its butter smooth.
                              We only complain about the cameras but what we forget, it's a 500$ phone and we just can't have the same quality pictures result of higher priced smartphones which have OIS.
                              But still, for 500$ it's one heck of a masterpiece.

A few years ago I purchased a Samsung S5 which failed after 4 months; it wouldn't make or receive calls/texts, and every time I reset the phone a message appeared 'No network available' (I learned that it was an antenna failure which was a common problem on that phone). I sent the phone off to Samsung's repair centre and it was returned with the same problem. I contacted Samsung and told them that as they were unable to repair the phone then they were obliged to replace it under their 24 month warranty. Samsung stopped talking to me at that point and I have never purchased a Samsung phone since.
