You dont even need 8gb ram in a phone

Of course a pinch of salt is highly recommend.
The original article (that I can't find anymore/stupid alarm) focused more on Amazon India and the fact that Amazon refused to publish the "victim's" review and also refused to replace the unit(only agreed to a refund).
It also mentioned that some OP5 users are complaining about the buttons being a little fragile.
I don't have this phone but it wouldn't be the first with fragile buttons (no surprise if that part turns out to be true).

The coolest thing here its i can carry a beast for 500 and make a fun of other dumb guys who bought equaly same phone i mean specs from other lot more expensive brands like Samsung Sony Apple etc.
So i ratther get OP5 for 500 than S8+ for 900 eur. Which is 400 eur flush to toilet for nothing extra apart water resistance and no bezzels.
Which is like car without bumpers which is ugly. Like S8 its an ugly phone withiut any bezzels.

This is OnePlus' flagship and it isn't required to be water resistant or charge wirelessly. There was some poll asking OnePlus users what they wanted, a ton of them asked for (and got) a headphone jack. Is there a phone out there that has great water resistance AND a headphone jack.
P.S. Yes there is blutooth, but I don't like it cutting out (distance, etc.)

Please tell me how this is worse than the 3T.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2017The back design is nothing superior it's made of plasticNope, the full back cover is made from aliminium with a coating. Sides are all steel so is buttons. Between screen and the housin, theres a little strip of plastic, but thats to keep the screen able to take more vibrations and handle better from falling.

Debatable.
All my working documents (spreadsheets/word etc) are all in the cloud - too important to lose with faulty hardware. If you stream music only - then yes 64GB is more than plenty. I am watching the sales in Canada - 64GB still shipping immediately. 128GB was up to 5 weeks last night and is back to 3 weeks. 64GB - gosh for such a small difference in price - why bother even building them? Pixel at least had two sizes.
But nowadays the smartphones are so powerful - with a keyboard you can do anything including streaming video from your phone to the TV - even tablets are starting to fade in sales. People that have and want music/video collections - have no home PC 128GB doesn't cut it.
To cater to all - I don't see much of a downside offering external memory especially when the blasted thing isn't even waterproof. Also the dual trays have the ability to have external memory - still OP doesn't do it. Though I didn't buy the OP5, it was a sore point but I have learned to live with 32GB+64GB on my S3 - the 128GB would be good enough for me. But yes still enough of a concern that people will pass without the external memory. Streaming is limited to your cell plan bandwidth (WIFI aside) to cloud all - I see validity in having external memory.
