It has been wonderful using this phone for 3 days now!.. no lags.. Games are super smooth.. the screen is optic amoled yet the colours with DCI-P3 are amazing.. It preserves the black.. thats the best. Issue with EIS does not come unless u have extremely shaky hands.. Its just a image stablizer afterall.. Get ur hands steady for the best pic of the year. Anyways the camera is superb with the portrait mode amazing!! The battery charges to 100% in around 30mins... n lasts with medium usage(Gaming for an hour.. browsing for 4-5 hours.. talk time of around 1 hour and fooling around anytime) for the whole day with atleast 10% at bedtime which was still at the same when I got up in the morning(with auto battery saver mode turned on after 15%) on 4G LTE network on both sims.
Finally u dont need a loud speaker adjunct.. here the speaker is deafening loud at the same time crystall clear at a reasonable level.
All gestures and responses with the finger print scanner are fast.. the gesture feature to start apps is amazing. Really loved it.

                    I wil give it full points. A 10/10. A 5 star experience.

Other examples are No OIS in OP5, no dust & water resistance.

These things make difference in a 500$ and 900$ phone.

                        Cheers!!

Is there an international version? Looking at buying a OP5 from China for use in Australia.

Or, will there be any restrictions with upgrades as I heard it doesn't come with Google Play which we'd need to manually install.

no memory card slot and no ip68 rating.. I preferred a phone with IP68 so it will be a phone for everywhere even under water.. and a memory card to so i can upgrade anytime on my storage..

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2017Don't use phones for storing stuff, unless the stored stuff... moreAgreed, but that doesn't mean that an SD card in the phone isn't a valuable feature. There's also layers of backup possible. Can backup things that are not as important to SD card (preferences, configuration, etc), and make sure all photos go (eventually) to computer / cloud. In the case of my LG G4 failures, I was backing up my car fuel/maintenance logs to the sdcard and then cloud, but still would be unhappy to lose a single entry that wasn't sync'd yet. Also the app had an error backing up to the cloud, so sdcard backup was very useful.

Podcasts, downloaded videos, etc are not important to backup, but it's still really nice to have them on the phone. Road trips, boat and nature excursions may put one out of range and then the downloaded content is nice to have.

Being able to have a card to transfer things on and off the phone is nice also. There are plenty of great reasons why SD cards are good to have in phones. This is why they were put into them starting over a decade ago. And when Samsung took it out of the S6, they regretted it - they also aren't the only manufacturer to try removing the card slot and then put it back in. Super popular phones like the moto g5 may sacrifice expensive features like the fastest processor; but without flashy features and big marketing budgets they know that removing the inexpensive sd slot would adversely impact their sales. OnePlus is following the Apple model of encouraging users to buy the higher spec'd version; but they are not even charging enough to alter their margins. It doesn't make any sense - unless one chalks it up to bad decision making.

I mean it's okay but you can't be cool in a KIA like you'll never be cool holding a OP5.
