I agree that the volume slider doesn't completely silence the phone, but why do feel the need to download an app when you can just use the Ring/DND/Silence slider on the left hand side which does silence it.

5T or mi mix 2? 5t in our country is $560 and mi mix 2 is $400. which is gonna be better for around 2-3yrs usage? thanks

Hi all, Bought in UK back in Feb 2018 & by far for the Price best Phone I have ever Owned. I have had an issue setting the Volume Slider to complete Silence (Do Not disturb). Looking @ loads of forums this seems to be a common problem. I have found a work around by signing into to Google Play & downloading a Do Not Disturb App. this has fixed the problem and now when someone calls the LED Blue light comes on and the bar shows who is calling but no sound whatsoever. FANTASTIC for meetings etc.

I did realised that battery life just slightly improved and also was camera. Btw overall I recommended to upgrade to Oreo.

I have op5t. I'm still on Nougat...i want to upgrade to Oreo, but I have bad experience with upgrading Android phones...it's slower, buggy, not stable..so...can anyone tell me who has Oreo, how is it?

micro sd is pretty useless these days, We have google fotos. 64gb is more than enough for me.
One last question, it´s really true that you can´t watch streaming videos in full hd right ?
This was my only concern.....

Battery life was insane, 2 days battery life and fast charging is the fastest I've ever seen, 50% for just 30 minutes. On camera was in mixed bag, not class-leading but great. Don't get me wrong, personally I like the camera, daylight was incredible and lowlight is pretty good, but you can tell the difference if you put side-by-side with other camera master like Samsungs, Apples, Googles etc. No bug on both Nougat and Oreo, remains excellent. But keep in mind that you'll miss expandable storage which had on your Nokia 7 Plus. Hope this detailed explanation helps you.

If the slider was a button then it would be easy to press it by accident and your phone would go to DND or Silent and you wouldn't know it. The same applies if the slider was looser than it is. It is a slider that is tight to move for those reasons.
I bought a case with a cut out for the slider which makes it easy to operate.
Don't complain, it is the way it is for a reason, and I think it was well designed to work the way it does.
