After the most recent article of the specs, OnePlus clearly didn't learn or listen (a 100mAH battery increase ONLY despite the larger screen and the same stupid camera setup that made their 5/5T come back with subpar reviews of their picture quality...seriously...). Due to that, I will await the ZTE Axon 9 (despite the US government being stupid about it), Pixel 3 XL, and Note 9 as my next phone. Well done OnePlus, ya done screwed up...

Personally I love the idea of the notch.
I've posted this before and I will again:
Time and icons is fine up there, i CAN'T see the disadvantage of the notch.
And shut up about the "copy from iPhone", they were NOT the first to have the notch.
Notch, yes please (without having tried it)
Fingerprint scanner in the back, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely NO idea of having it here.
I didn't buy the 5T because of that, and will not buy the OP6 if there's only a scanner in the back (hoping for the front screen scanner)
I've got the 3T now and is very happy about the phone. But I'll say it again; NO fingerprint scanner on the back - DO YOU HEAR ME ONEPLUS!?!?!
And yes get some splashproof even though I've never had the problem - even walking in rain, you just think about it, yeah?

design is not at all good. don't want that stupid notch on the top, really it spoils the look.we want super amoled display for sure, otherwise this is gonna be a big failure.

Daniel, 19 Mar 2018The OnePlus phones have 401 ppi since OnePlus 2. How many y... moreThere's a reason Samsung, Huawei and Apple all ship their phones with 1080p resolution by default (for some you can change resolution in settings if you want but not recommended).
It's pretty much impossible to tell the pixels apart on such small screens unless you have cyborg eyes or use the device one inch from your face.
I'd rather have better performance and battery life that comes with lower native resolution.
There are much more important things about display, such as dynamic range, sunlight legibility and color accuracy, all of which have been pretty decent on oneplus devices before and will probably get even better.

The OnePlus phones have 401 ppi since OnePlus 2. How many years need to pass for an upgrade ? I understand performance is important, but so is the quality of the display.
