oh author vectem of the NOTCH VIRUS !
I think that sense that oneplus had terrible costumer service they don't care about user opinion they thought that the notch is the new ,POPULAR, design the just gone with the flow they even forgot the logo ,NEVER STETTLE.......except the notch, (;
but let's look at the specs ( I mean specification )
1) 16 mp f1.7 like the 5 5T but the second camera is a deepth sensing 5mp cam insted of the wide range 20 camera so way focusing on the bokehan effects insted of the proformens and way using an outdated camera senser on the flagship ? (it is the same old hardware sense the one+ 3 only f1.7 insted of the old f2.0 and programming the EIS insted of the hardware OIS ) even the same old video recording sense one + one even with the new SD845 chipset noooooo they just like what's popular not whats better
2) way not trying to add IP rating at least to protect against splashs you dont think that the sky rains ? a flagship must have water protection so it can last longer even some people love to take photos under water but nooooo they will see it and say ( hay look a great looking cheep Glass phone lets buy it we dont need those expensive water proof ugly phone ) after 2 days you will complain about the sky raining !

Nice design. Though the notch might seem like a copy from Apple / Essential, it seems futuristic in otherwise plain front screen.

People wanted that obscene 19.9 ratio bezelless screen for pornography purposes, and that notch is staying with front camera just totally ruined the design.

Nasty. OEMs are mostly to blame for jumping on this trend but I can't help but feel disappointed in Android for supporting it. It gives these companies the go-ahead to implement these screen cutouts.
Those who defend the notch should also go add a notch to their TV's, monitors, tablets, laptops and see if it's still cool. In fact go to a movie theater / IMAX and ask em to add a notch while you're at it.
