Would not recommend getting a oneplus, my op6 faced a qualcomm crash dump. look it up and you'll realise that this is something happening to many oneplus phones, and even the newer versions.

Granted my op6 lasted 3.5 years so cost wise it's fine, but it could've definitely lasted longer. I will never buy a oneplus again.

My OnePlus 6 overheats, drains batter rapidly, and shuts down abruptly. Time for a new phone. Tragic as it's a perfectly good phone if not for that.

i got my phone water damaged , do tried to get display replaced from outside but could not do it as it was costing me only 2k less than what store is offering without the peace of warranty period . so I got replaced my display for INR 8152 with battery replacement for absolutly free(1135 i guess). So I wasnt aware of that as i generally asked for them to replaced it. I am extremely happy that i went for the oneplus care and not for dome duplicate screen. Also to mention oneplus care services are best. I went to New Delhi Connaught Place Care.

Used sinCe last 3-4 year without any interruption buT Now due to careless,,,I missed it and goT damaged....Still waiting to find the energized device same as 1+6.
          Missing you my partner

Just got my OnePlus 6 battery changed after usage of nearly 4 years. Was pleasently surprised that One plus service centre in India have a replacement offer, wherein you only have to pay Rs. 470 ($6) for labour charges and they replace battery for free. Now Accubattery app is showing new capacity of 3100 mah (old degraded battery had max charging capacity of 2400 mah). Also got the charging port replaced for 220 bucks. Phone works like a charm, and seems it will easily last me 2+ yrs. All data was backed up, just incase, however technicians were good, all apps and data came back perfectly fine. Really amazing service be One plus.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2022is there a noticeable change after upgrading the system to ... moreI think yes.. even my phone started to slowly have issues which made me change my device. So it actually worked. haha :D there could be no other way I would have changed my phone.

I just replaced my OP 6 with Realme GT Neo 2. I would says I'm impressed with the display. battery, 120Hz speed. But its a bit heavy when compared to OP 6 and UI is not even closer to oxygen OS but I'm okay with it as I didn't find any other OP phone worthy nowadays, they are not what they where before, atleast on my aspect. The camera is okay not great. Forgot to mention the 65W charger is insane speed. Overall this is the best I could find as a worth replacement for my OP 6. Recommended.

just now my phone died due to my own carelessness, getting a new one, this one did its job perfectly, could be a little cheaper when i bought it but this phone is a definite 5/5 from me.

been using this phone for 3+ years and its the best phone so far. however the time has come to choose a new phone. anyone can recommend a worthy replacement? within the 1+6 price range ofc.

Actually the hardware and build quality of this phone is really good, but after the recent Android 11 upgrade, the OS is ultimately terrible (as comments below). Phone become sluggish and there are numerous random bugs during normal use.

I recommend flashing to other stable ROM, or using it as development/tinkering device (as it's now able to be flashed into Windows 11)

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2022is there a noticeable change after upgrading the system to ... moreYou'll want to do a clean install (i.e. wipe the phone) after updating to Android 11, otherwise it'll be really laggy. Personally ended up reinstalling Android 10 due to Bluetooth connectivity issues with the newer OS, and not going to update or upgrade my phone until a better Android version is out.

Its been more than 3years , Still it runs like a beast. Surely it was the best premium mobile of its time.Even its rival Samsung S9 pro lags after years of usage. It has seen 3 updates and 4 versions of OS from Android 8 to Android 11 and its Still Blazing fast. I want to upgrade my mobile , but heart never allows to sell this mobile . So , i am gonna cherish this mobile as long as i can , even when i buy a new phone. Oneplus 6 is bae ❤️

The last ever OnePlus with the still-relevant headphone jack. Since OnePlus had fulfilled their duty of rolling out three major OS update to this phone, it's time to live it longer with the help of custom ROM.
