And unless you can actually build a phone with the camera underneath the display thereby removing the need for a notch then stop complaining. I don't understand the problem here. Not saying I love the notch but at least with One plus and Huawei you can hide it so you're not embarrassed. It truly baffles me how much of a deal people are making about this. OP is giving you more screen with an option for people to change it. Apple is the rigid company who couldn't care less about allowing the consumer to customize their phones. Just you wait, Samsung will design a phone with the notch and then where would we be?
It's so fun to hate and easy to criticize but I swear, half the people that say they don't like the notch are just doing it because it's part of the band-wagon. I'm not a big fan of it either but you don't see any other major brands with under-display cameras...
And I'm sure I'll get a whole bunch of comments shooting me down but it makes no difference to me. Haters will always hate, and people with no backbone will always follow the haters.
On a side-note. This phone is between $200-$500 less than Samsung or Apple so you can't expect it to have absolutely everything. That being said, don't act so surprised. you're getting the same processor in the S9 with 6-8 gigs of RAM and storage options of your choosing.
I am disappointed that it doesn't have USB 3.0 and an IR blaster would be nice. But are we that lazy that we can't plug a cord into our phone to charge it, or crippled by the fact that we aren't able to see 2k on our phone? My phone currently displays 2K and I see hardly any difference between my screen and my son's FHD phone. Multiple articles have been written about how the human eye can only see so many pixels on a screen. People just want the specs and don't really care whether or not they can detect the difference be FHD and QHD, so they are willing to spend more to see the same thing. Not trying to offend people who own an S9 - It's a great phone... but at the same time people who buy the Zenphone 5, op6, or P20 could be just as offended by those who dis them because their phone does have the same resolution or has a notch. They're phones - We call, we text, and watch videos. Simple as that - move on

Or at least every second model. 2) OnePlus warranty is straight horrible. You pay huge amounts for shipping the device back and forth if it has issues, and in the end if you get lucky, you get a refurb phone with scratches, coffs and such. Absolutely unbeliavable. 3) The 3300mAh battery - I feel it's just small. I am using a similar "all-screen" phone, Mate 10 Pro, and it has a 4000mAh. It just needs that much. Even if the SD845 is more power efficient (they always come with this "blah blah but the new chip, the power efficiency..." NO.)

So, should you buy? I don't know man. If you must... but I would wait a bit for sure, to see if this one also has design/build issues.

1. Loudspeaker- as per gsmarena, it is below mediocre, below than OP5T.
2. Display- OLED agreed, why not without a chin?
3. Camera- AI has become a boom now, Here comes OP6 in mid 2018 with no AI features.
4. Video- S9 can shoot 960fps, but 480fps in OP6, i Don't expect a samsung s9 feature. but 480fps, doesn't really look that slow, when people have got used to S9.
5. Stereo speakers- There are lot of people like me, who are crazy fan of Stereo Speakers, to understand what i mean, you used have tried a stereo front facing speakers , need not be like Samsung s9, but can be like Lenovo Vibe x3.

if you are happy with oneplus remember that 1 day you will suddenly start losing data, money, maybe other things too.... if you don't know.. oneplus and huawei both known companies... both chinese... both stole people's data without permission.

- in my country (from EU) a 5T costs MORE than the S8+ or XZP (are you nuts??) Who is going to buy a china replika brand for more money than than the actual brands they are copying??
- they lie in benchmark tests!
- they are well known for spying on you and stealing your data

Sorry, but I don't see a flagship killer here. All I see when I look at this replika is some overrated garbage being praised by people with 0 (ZERO) technical skills and knowledge or by payed trolls.
