Excuse me but wtf? I took Carl Pei as the type of dude that is consumer-orientated, never thought that he would also join the dark side. If they actually remove the headphone jack, then I've lost all my faith in OnePlus anymore.
Consumers don't need to tolerate this.

This phone is outstanding it have everything an excellent phone should have and it dont have any extra garbage which would increase its price like stupid jack IP68 and so on.
Just waste of money.
But the phone its self is AWESOME.

Since you can get big batteries in budget phones (4000 mAh, 5000 mAh) expectations for batteries have gone up. $900 or $1000 or even $550 for a flagship with average battery is a no-go. Once you've had a big battery you can't go back.
Companies selling Android phones in the US for more than $300--it needs to have a big battery going forward. Apple buyers of course will pay any price for an average battery.

Snapdragon, 02 Oct 2018probably will cost $650 USD. why not make 5000mAh battery? ... moreyet you will be missing an immersive water drop notch display, an improved water resistivity guarding your phone against the rain, and liquid. you might not be able to root as unlocking boot-loaders on xiaomi takes days sometimes months, you will be missing the in-display fingerprint sensor, you will not be privileged to faster android updates and you will miss a lot on speed, fluidity, optimised and smooth operating system and oh an amazing community that addresses all issues and discussions, all this you are getting on the oneplus so yeah it definitely will do things your Mi won't. see the difference?

probably will cost $650 USD. why not make 5000mAh battery? Never bought oneplus before but am not spending more than $300 on any phone. i will buy Xiaomi mi max 3 and do everything this oneplus phone will do. plus I will have headphone jack lol. next year buy max 4 and still have some change.

I do agree the specs mentioned in are unofficial... However, OnePlus is known for speed and they will never add SD Card Slot for any reason...
I think the specs are pasted directly from the Oppo R17 Pro... Atleast they managed to remove the TOF Camera... :D

Where did we hear this thing was getting a hybrid dual sim and finally a secondary camera lens that ISN'T the same aperture as the primary!? Ugh....that battery though...at least if this is true and it has Wireless charging and stereo speakers, I may consider this phone in the future depending on what the Razer 2 and LG V40 do with their specs.

i would prefer no microsd card slot at all and maybe adding a better feature. hybrid dual sim are useless, completely useless, what's the point of paying for all pieces if you can't use them together?
oneplus became the same garbage as other manufactures.
