Today my 1+ 7 Pro, went to sleep forever, got faulty soc from day 1, return it to get fix, they changed the board, used it for about 2 years 8 months, random wifi issues appears after the may update, the mobile data was missing randomly, random auto shut down, then random restarts, wake up today, used the phone for a moment, then it auto shut down, try to turn on but no luck. Well the phone worked fine until the may patch. Was a decent phone. Have a nice day everyone!

BubbleGum, 29 Apr 2022I got a question for any users of the 7 Pro.
I've r... moreAbsolutely worth it. In my humble opinion it is still the 'most premium' OnePlus device to date. The specs are still highly respectable against other flagships of this year. I've owned mine since November of 2019 and it's still going strong. The only practical setback is, of course, the lack of 5G support, but it's capable of some fairly heavy lifting using LTE/LTE+.
If you truly want the 5G support, opt for the similar (and slightly newer) 7T Pro 5G. If my understanding is correct, these were factory locked to T-Mobile, but their network is strong and reliable in nearly every area I travel as of the T-Mo merge with Sprint.

I still using the phone and its the best phone ever manufactured by OnePlus. Not even 8, 9 or 10 pro close to it when design, price, performance, specifications are equally blended and give best value for money. The last update I had received its affecting my battery performance and I think OnePlus doing it by knowingly so people consider new models. Since Carl left the firm, I don't believe OnePlus will create any new smartphone that surprise us. The company will slowly became another Mi or Vivo. So if its happens I will consider another manufacturer for my next phone.

geko95gek-XDA, 24 Apr 2022No surprises there. OnePlus cs is trash. It really is. Apparently my case was too "difficult" for them to handle and they had to escalate my case to "level 3 support" and there I finally met someone who actually helped me.
Definitely will not a OP again, both because of crappy cs and because they settled.

This might be one of the best phones ever. Owned for 2 years, never had a single problem because I stayed on OOS10 which was very stable. Since you can easily buy this phone used / refurbished in the US from $175 to $250 this will absolutely be a better option compared to a brand new phone that costs about the same. Only problem I can see is no 3.5mm jack compared to those cheaper phones.
