Oneplus discontinued 6/128gb variant priced at 42000inr even before going on sale. So now the base variant is 8/128gb priced at 45000 inr in India.

Both the devices have got similar cameras with very little difference in the cameras , the OP 8 has got a little better. S10 lite doesn't support 5G whereas OP 8 (OnePlus 8 ) does. Op8 has got much better CPU (Snapdragon 865; this year's latest ) and GPU( Andreno 650) than S10 lite . Op8 has a better display it has got high screen refresh rate (90Hz) which will make the screen much crisper and smoother , whereas the S10 lite has got the normal screen refresh rate(60Hz) . The S10 lite has got a slightly bigger screen than Op8 , just 0.15 inches bigger. But Op8 has got a curved display which make it look very good and stylish. Op8 has got better bluetooth , better wifi . Both have quite similar charging capacity ,S10 lite has 45 Watts charging capacity but in the box you get only a 25 Watt charger and OP8 30 Watts charging capacity and a 30 Watt charger is included in the retail box . Op8 is little lighter than S10 lite , only 8 grams lighter. Op8 is a few months newer than S10 lite . Oneplus is more focused company than Samsung so OP8 is predicted to get software updates for a little longer than S10 lite. Both the phones will last for 3-5 years when handled properly.
Let's talk about prices of these phones, in india the price of op8 6gb ram 128 gb storage is 41999 Rs and 8 GB ram, 128 gb storage is 44999 Rs . The price of samsung s20 lite 8gb ram , 128 gb storage is 42999 Rs . .
In short , I think that should buy the oneplus 8 instead of s10 lite

Oneplus 8 is more expensive / better / faster. If you do not regret the difference in price, buy OnePlus 8 otherwise S10Lite will be good :)
