I simply mentioned the fact that you mentioned the old price, not the current price. And I derived that price from Kimovil, which is much better than GSMArena in terms of finding prices.

joe nodden, 16 Apr 2020"DID" is past tense. What it costs now is what matters. If you care so much about being a Grammar Nazi, then the link I posted earlier shows the current latest price.

In my opinion one plus phone proce always high. Its not faer. They should think customer's pocket. Some people like it but they did'nt buy.

Remember the days of the 320 Euro Oneplus? Good times.
Too big
Too clunky
Too expensive.
Apple is doing now what every phone company should do - bring out smaller smartphones again. Probably gonna switch for the first time from Android to Apple.

when you compare it's too similar to 7T.
i like lower weight, but wouldn't upgrade as there's no Qi.
skip this generation for sure, and see if they do under display camera first.
i also recommend them do all Pro versions, but with different size, almost like Samsung - some people don't like 200g bricks.

joe nodden, 16 Apr 2020Over $1000? But the maxed out Mi 10 Pro is $918?That was with a price cut. If you bought one totally brand new without any haggling whatsoever, it DID cost $999. Heck, it's not even $918 as you mentioned: https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_10_pro_5g-price-10055.php

Lord, 16 Apr 2020I just saw IP68 rating is mentioned in Body section. Is it ... moredepends on region, some vanilla models do. In reality this is a certification and i doubt making a separate line of product to save on rubber is actual worth it. oneplus 8 would most likely have inherit water resistant, just not with the piece of paper saying so.

joe nodden, 16 Apr 2020Bruh literally the only upside this has over the Xiaomi Mi ... moreI seem to agree with you. Between the vanilla OnePlus 8 and the vanilla Xiaomi Mi 10, I'd take the Xiaomi all day.
But as for the Pro variant of both phones, I'd easily take the OnePlus in a heartbeat. I'd be more than happy to pay $1000 for a OnePlus phone, but $1000 for a Xiaomi? Not. a. chance!

I just saw IP68 rating is mentioned in Body section. Is it true for Oneplus 8? as no one mentioned it in hands on videos.
