Bought one of these from a friend last month, as they were selling cheaply…
I somewhat like it for its media playing capability and gaming power. The camera is surprisingly good, having come from a similarly aged iPhone 12.
But something about the OnePlus 8 and the iPhone12 just feels a little bit lacking in the excitement department. In contrast, I also purchased a Nokia 6303 Classic from a second hand shop three days ago and have had more fun customising and using that…
Maybe Apple, and OnePlus have a little retrospection to do?

Now 4 months back my display went blank , i had to give a hefty amount to change the display . After changing the display I used it for only 4 months .. normal use.. and now struck with another problem.. my phone’s motherboard is dead.. the service centre people told me to replace the motherboard by giving another hefty amount.. but this time I am not going to do anything to oneplus rather I am trying to change my phone.

Have been using this Phone for 2 years... Best phone ever! Still keeping that precious Android 11. OxygenOS 11. Once you update to OxygenOS 12 your phone is gone lol.

Now that it's gone. Google, apple and Samsung (one ui is good) are our only options. (And somewhat Motorola but camera's shiet)

Downgraded to Android 11 as oxygen OS is dead after this. To my surprise on cod mobile it now supports 90fps after the downgrade. Much happier now. Battery is better and lag of Android 12 is gone. My phone is now on its final version as oxygen OS 13 will be even deeper oppo integrated ..just read the OnePlus 10T review ..this is the future of OnePlus. I don't want a phone that snaps in half OnePlus 10pro and don't want a plastic 10T with no alert slider. We got lied to about oxygen OS 13 so I'm saying goodbye in advance.

This phone's design is simply the best I have seen so far. No design comes close except oppo's find x5 pro.

Battery standby seems to have improved on latest android 12 update. Also the old circular battery icon has quietly returned. Looking forward to android 13 when hopefully oxygen OS will be pure again and not based on color os. Really wish we had more than just 2 fonts to choose from. Unfortunately all OnePlus devices seem to be capped to 60fps gaming when they are capable of a lot more. Will be jumping ship when this device dies because of this limitation.

My bro bought it for 250€ few days ago and i can say iv never seen such and fast phone same like my Xperia.
This thing is a beast.
Battery life is so amazing on it and my brother is a gamer person so this bad boy never heats.

Nothing wrong with gaming graphics after android 12 EU update, cod mobile is working fine on maxed out graphics. Some home menus are now in 60hz now and battery drain has increased .

In april 2022 I updated my oneplus 8 to android 12.
After that my phone didnot show 5g connectivity option from phone setting. Besides previously while charging it was showing warp charging,now it shows voc charging.
What wouls be the solution
