i am looking to buy it however i am much worried about the weight 200g. plus ofcourse i shall need to add a cover and front protection glass. Shall i be comfortable to hold almost 220g device watching 3hrs movie?
Will you still recommend me to go for it or recommend me any other phone with same specs

Bugs bugs bugs. I'm keeping my 8 pro in the drawer till the bugs are rid. 1st time I'm so annoyed with oneplus os . Switching to poco f3 for the time being. It parform even better than 8 pro now. Wake up oneplus. You're losing loyal customers.

ONEPLUS 8 PRO is very good device,I love this device,but front camera is not take good pictures,day light little blurry,low light much blurry in android 12.
Please fix it.🙏😘🥰

The Oxygen OS 11 was a much better layout. this ColorOS mixed with OxygenOS is pathetic. Oneplus should solely stick to their own Ui. This colorOS is not that great according to my personal user experience. I dont know about the rest but im sure many would agree to my statement. OxygenOS is better than the merged OxygenOS/ColorOS

The update is just for battery life.
After the update the problem is solved.
Battery life is now the same as it was with android 11.
Also the heating problem is solved.
Check for the new update, is about 90mb in size.

I did downloaded the OS11 from the link that Mr. Alonzo provided, unfortunately there is no local update. In youtube found a tutorial but cant find My application anf local update to manually downgrade. Until now the same problem and another 1 came up, the phone is heating up.
Got frustrated already of so many attempts and give. Let it be and wait for the upgrade again and hope they find solutions to our problems. Thanks anyway. Cheers

After android 12 (they are saying it is oxygen os 12,but i am sure it is not oxygen os ..just a color os copy)
Heating issue ,phone is heating to 45°C
Fast charging is not working properly ,taking more time to full the battery,earlier it was so fast(warp on oxygen os 11)now it is charging like 15 watt
Battery draining, worst problem charging speed reduced draining speed increased 😭
Flickering and frame drop while playing games.
App optimisation not working properly,ram management not upto the mark.
Pls avoid this update ,wait for stable update ..i am a oneplus 8 pro user ,fed up with the phone right now...earlier on orginal oxygen os it was silky smooth and i am really satisfied with my phone ..one update changed all ..pls dont update to ocygen os named color os.

I was hoping that it will be back to the original operating system and a big disappointment that android 12 was installed. Anyway, lesson learned, this is the last one+ phone i will purchase. Otherwise, I would recommend you doing a back up and factory reset.

Few days back i update this to android and mostly of the apps crashed and when i closed all the apps it is not responding..it says system is now in optimal condition but the app is still there and i have to close one by one. It is a bummer that i have to uninstall the one app to another and the next day it will start to crash again. Haizt..please help.thanks

After update Android 12 my phone heating much in gaming 45+Celsius on Android 11 only 41 celsius max,
Every time is going for update something is destroy on update not fix anything all time, also from camera 48 megapixel "2x is mising not good quality ultra wide pictures anymore" shame one plus not good work, first time buy one plus no more goodbye

good phone. i wouldnt want to go bak to samsung. i have been using since 10months and i was a samsung user since past years. i would say this phone lives up to the mark. battery is good as well and charges fast. screen on time of between 5 or 6hrs is okay.

And i reply his comment when using beta OOS 12 its not stable.
Comback android 10 battery still good for 1 day normal use. (6-7h SOT; 15h standby, alway LTE, 120hz, GPS, many app).
But i sware 4510mha on OP8P not longer than 4500mha on other phone.
