Chris, 03 Jan 2021Hey! I'm not sure, if I should buy an Oneplus 8T or a... more Who told you the 7 pro has a better camera lol? I own both phones and they have the same sensor and camera. Also the 7 pro comes in a 5G variant as well. Yes the display is better on the 7 pro, but 120hz and flat design make up for that on the 8t, it's all about what you want. After all the firmware issues will be sorted on the 8T, it will be a beast. For me it is the better choice. Doesn't hurt that I got a nice deal for the 11.11 ali sale for £452. Either way you can't go wrong with either of them.

    Hei guys, i have an 8t but people are talking about battery drain issue, i haven't yet updated the phone to the latest version so should i do it or not?

        The price looks to me a little low, that's why I am saying. In Czechia this phone (the S20FE 5G) cost 780EUR.

        I bought the One Plus 8T, but only because I managed to find it at a good deal (550EUR). 230EUR was too big difference for me to go for the S20FE 5G.

            Only the S20FE 5G comes with the SD865.
            Sometimes people confuse these two and think they are one and the same phone. Which are not. In Czechia there is 130EUR price difference between them. The S20FE 5G being the more expensive one-->780EUR, compared to S20FE-->650EUR.
            And is not about Europe or USA. In Europe you can find both variants of the S20FE, unlike the normal S20 which is only Exynos variant.

                      Hello guys. I just bought this phone with 550EUR at a discounted price. A big step from my previous phone, a Realme 6.
                      I will keep you guys posted, if anything will be bad with this phone.
                      For me this phone is perfect at that price. I am not a camera person (so I don't mind the average cameras quality on this phone). I do not care about IP rating or wireless charging.
                      Also, this phone was about 130EUR less expensive than the S20 FE (Exynos variant) and with about 230EUR than the S20 FE 5G (SD variant). So, it was an easy choice.

                        I really like The oneplus 8 design but i don't really like The bland design of The 8t. It feels like oneplus is stepping down The uniqueness of The old oneplus phones.

You will get more software updates because it is a newer phone, and it has an incredible camera, screen and chipset for the price. Qualcomm have made some huge improvements in the 8T chip vs the 7 Pro chip, so it is better value for money. The 7 Pro will provide you with better hardware ( because it is an old flagship ), but the 8T still has incredible hardware. There will also be less battery degredation so you can expect better performance and power, as well as faster charge times and a full day of usage. If you are a light user and only use your phone for emails, web browsing and phone calls, I would recommend saving more money and getting a smartphone from the OnePlus Nord series ( linked below). If you play games and do a lot of daily tasks with your phone, you should definitely purchase one of the mainline flagship devices. My personal recommendation is the 8T, although you may think differently.

                                    can oneplus 8t make a better update for the weak network signal...even the poco x3 nfc get better for all network..i hope the new update will solve this problem..
