        The front camera is a disgrace which maxes out at 1080p, which is a disgrace. The front camera is terrible in low light as well. Also, you have to agree that the 2 MP monochrome camera is of no use.

        The OP8 Pro was plagued with display issues. Only time will tell what issues the OP9 Pro has.

          I'm surprised about the battery life. Have the 9 Pro since yesterday and until now the battery is strong enough to get my through the day with 7-8h SoT and a 80/20 mix of mobile network and WiFi But the scrolling on twitter or the Google feed is hilarious 🙁 OP must improve the experience with an update really fast

              My honest verdict on samsung galaxy s21 ultra and oneplus 9 pro after watching a significant amount of reviews:-

              Build: both devices have compact and premium build with aluminium frame, but oneplus weighs lot lesser than samsung which makes it more comfortable to use.
              Verdict - oneplus

              Design: oneplus has a design that is quite common in the industry, moreover, oneplus has put a bit of elegance in the design, on the other hand, samsung's design is quite unique but not that good looking, specially the thick camera portion makes it look kinda eyesore.
              Verdict - oneplus

              Durability: oneplus has gorilla 5 protection which is less durable than samsung's gorilla viscous protection.
              Verdict - samsung

              Performance: both device are equal in performance, but oneplus gets less hot than samsung during heavy usage.
              Verdict - oneplus

              Display: both have equally good displays, oneplus has greater ppi and resolution and adaptive refresh rate while samsung has better brightness.
              Verdict - draw

              Software: both device have equally good os, in fact oneplus's os is based on samsung's os in a lot of ways.
              Verdict - draw

              Fingerprint: both have fast in display fingerprint sensors, but oneplus's fingerprint sensor is not well-placed.
              Verdict - samsung

              Battery: samsung is slightly better in battery life, but the charging prowess of oneplus not only compensates but overtakes samsung by a huge margin in this department.
              Verdict - oneplus

              Camera: this is not a single topic, it has a lot of things to discuss.
              Main camera - oneplus provides realistic and detailed picture and samsung provides vibrant picture, it’s completely upto the user's preference.
              Wide angle - oneplus wins it here, though samsung provides a bit more background in its pictures, oneplus has the better quality, also the removal of fish eye effect clearly wins it for oneplus.
              Portrait - samsung wins it by a huge margin, no need for elaboration.
              Selfie - samsung wins it by a huge margin, no need for elaboration.
              Zoom - samsung wins it, no need for elaboration. This phone is famous for its zooming.
              Macro lens - both are great in it, but oneplus captures a bit more detail and since this lens is merged with the ultra wide lens, oneplus slightly wins it since it has a better ultra wide lens.
              Night mode - oneplus wins it, no need for elaboration, also oneplus has the extra night mode video option which is a big deal.
              Pro mode - oneplus wins it, no need for elaboration.
              Video - oneplus wins it, no need for elaboration, it also has a portrait video mode which is a big deal.
              Verdict - draw

              Sound: equally good in this department.
              Verdict - draw

              Result: oneplus 8-6 samsung
              Also to be noted that oneplus originally costs 200 dollars less than samsung.
              So overall I think oneplus 9 pro is a better phone than samsung galaxy s21 ultra

Name any department where OP9 excels, compared to other brands. It doesn't, it's even worse than OP8. OP should stay at their original price level like €350 - only then it will make sense.

But still one plus UI not as bloated as Samsung one UI and especially after Samsung add s pen software to S line after Samsung going to ditch note line hate that because s pen effect overall performance of the phone, but yeah agree with you s21 better choice overall.

I had the displeasure of buying the Samsung note phone that was recalled due to bursting into flames!! Never forgiven them for how badly they handled that!!!

                            I have owned the Op 3, 5t and 7t and they are very good phones in today's world..... Nothing more, nothing less but at least they are always safe on planes!!!!

                            I know who I trust my money with!!!

                              We all get different experiences , but I am guessing yours means everyone had the same issues ?

The price of the S21 Ultra on that link changes like the wind, and Samsung slashing their prices drastically on Amazon (14% already) a couple of months after the release raises question marks on the resell value of this phone. The S20 Ultra on Amazon at the moment has a 39% permanent discount off its RRP whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro only has a 28% discount off its RRP on a flash deal that ends in 4 days when I assume it'll go up £50 in price again.
