Just bought this CE 5G phone a month ago. My opinion:
    -Chipset processing speed-good
-Camera : tested to capture 4K Video on Youtube, end product, not bad at all, am happy with it, so pretty surprised to view others' comments on poor camera quality.
    - Battery charging time is quick and ok.
-The only con- occasionally, phone gets heated up...so need to reduce brightness to reduce heat level to normal. Just like to hear from other users on this particular issue plus recommendations to ease off the heating problem. Cheers!

I am using OnePlus Nord CE(5G) 256GB 12GB RAM phone for the last 2month and I am reviewing on behalf of the 5GHz (5G)band and budget phone around 29K INR (330 - 370 $).

      1. Optimum Design (Aspect ratio) and Memory - according to the company states it is the slimmest phone after the OnePlus 6T, the best design is that maintain a 4500 mah battery with an optimum design height is just 7.9mm. weight is scaled down at 170 g and body dimension 159.2x73.5x7.9mm (LxBxH) so it is easy to carry and weight is less, AR is 20:9 which is quite enough.

      -Chipset: Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G & Octa-core , Adreno 619.
      -Memory: 256GB 12GB RAM
-Video capture: Rear camera: 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, gyro-EIS; Front camera: 1080p@30/60fps.
-Battery: 4500mAh; Fast charging 30W, 70% in 30 min (advertised) but my experience is 40 mint.
-Misc: Fingerprint reader, NFC, 3.5mm jack.

      2. Lab Tests reports (official by the company):-
-no HDR10 Video Support, Full DCI-P3 coverage and 90 Hz refresh rate is healthy for a working professional or a student but you may get better than this refresh rate in some other OnePlus series Nord 2, Nord 9R etc. around 120 Hz.

      brightness effect at 100 % ( white,cd/m^2)
      OnePlus Nord 323 & OnePlus Nord CE 5G 429
I found that OnePlus Nord CE 5G is better than Nord 2.

      3. OS performance:-
OxygenOS 11 and my experience with OxygenOS 11 is excellent because it gives a cleaner, minimal look which is close to the stock Android experience and it gives fast updates compared to others.

      4. Camera:-
-3 cameras on the back and one in the front

-64MP primary sensor with a 1/1.73" sensor with 0.8µm pixels is paired with an f/1.8 lens which is quite enough for photography and in this budget, only a few 5G phones you may get, in MI series those are available with 108MP quad camera.

-Secondary camera is ultrawide it uses the common 8MP 1/4.0" sensor with 1.12µm pixels. The aperture is f/2.3 while the viewing angle is advertised as 119-degree.

      - Third camera 2MP macro-dedicated camera and it can help with the faux bokeh effect.

-selfie camera sitting in the cutout is 16MP with f/2.5 aperture, and the sensor measures 1/3.0" in size adopting 1.0µm pixels which is not that much enough in Night mode, sometimes blur photos comes if you are a selfie lover will not recommend this phone. If you switch the company you may get better than this camera.

-Overall experience with the camera is average.

      5. Alternative, pros and cons:-
-this phone has Competition with some mid-range phones and OnePlus is a premium brand and the phone is capable of all-new emerging technology and the main competition is with Mi NOTE 10 PRO, Mi Poco F3 and Samsung A52.

-this phone has 12GB RAM and 256 GB base storage and no SD card slot while Samsung A52 have an extendable memory slot but the processor is Snapdragon 720G so I will go with a 750G processor and with 12 GB RAM and 750G processor is quite for working professionals under this budget.

-Excellent battery life and fast charging solution with Li-Po 4500 mAh & Fast charging 30W, 70% in 30 min (advertised) but I felt that it takes 40 mint while 100 per cent from 1 per cent 55 mint which is really good but as we know if battery charges fast then more possibility is that it drains fast and I feel the same.

-no stereo speakers so if you are a music lover please avoid this phone.

if it is really helpful kindly upvote, this will encourage me a lot. Thank you very much for upvoting.

Recently bought a Nord CE 5G but have yet to set it up. I would like to ask:
        1. Can I charge the Nord CE 5G using a much faster charger like Realme's SuperDart 65w charger?
        2. Is it safe to install those speaker booster apps even if to increase the volume to up to 30%?
        3. Will installing the Sound Amplifier app by Google "interfere" or "clash" with the Dirac audio tuner of the phone?
        Please help. Cheers.

Battery life is a beast on this phone and charges 0-100% in an hour or so.

Have you tried cleaning all your apps in the background, their cache? Which apps are draining the battery the fastest? try reinstalling those apps. Actually try restarting your phone.

                          1. How long will it be supported via Oxygen OS updates?
                          2. Does It have Dolby Atmos? or Dirac Audio? or some form of stereo surround sound feature?
And does it support Apt-X HD or Apt-X Lossless?
                          3. Is it true the speakers on the bottom sounded tinny? or just weak?
Would you say it is adequate on a near-crowded bus or train to hear the phone ringing?
                          4. Does it have the same fast optical fingerprint scanner similar to the Nord 1 or One Plus 8T?
                          5. I heard the latest update improved the camera(s) photo quality and performance.
Is this true? And how are the improvements?

The camera specs are complete bs. The main shooter takes only blurry pictures that look like they were taken with a cheap early 2000's 2MP digital camera. Otherwise seems like an ok phone.

Don't buy this phone unless 4 hours of screen time is acceptable to you.

Total waste of money. And yes, camera sucks for the price you pay.

But if you prioritise camera, then Redmi Note 10 Pro, Mi 11 Lite, Samsung A52 are going to be better choices.
