Hello. I have been fortunate enough to get two invites for the OP One. I have purchased two of the 64 GB versions, one for my wife and one for myself. We are well pleased with all aspects of this model. We are in the U.S. and I have read some of the problems some people have written concerning this phone. We have had nothing but great experience using them. We have no working relationship with either hardware or software makers of this phone. We are just happy consumers using T-Mobile pay as you go. Very happy with the camera which has many settings and ISO of up to 1600. You can even take time lapse movies which I have been interested in doing for a long time but with no device to do so. Sorry. I can find no downside with this device. It has received OTA updates and we anticipate a new update to (CM12) Lollipop in the not too distant future. Flagship killer indeed!

Wonderful phone with high end specs! Very functional in both hardware and software departments. The only problem I have so far was the Bluetooth not working after the XNPH05Q upgrade. There is a fix out there by either downgrading the stock rom or with rooted images.

I would highly recommend against purchasing the Oneplus One. I must have been sent a faulty phone, because I've had mine since September 2014 and for the past five months it's barely functioned. It crashes constantly, every second or third time I turn it on. The screen just goes black and it won't start working again until I manually restart the phone. Additionally I have heating issues and the battery doesn't last that long. The phone takes between 5-30 seconds to respond when pressing the lock button to turn the screen on, and quite often when playing audio it will crash and stop, even if it's an mp3 file.

Like I said, I'm sure that I've just been sent a faulty device, but I know two other people with a Oneplus One and one of them is having difficulties with their phone as well. Oneplus One's tech support is frustrating and unhelpful, they haven't even responded to one of my tickets. All in all my Oneplus One has been the most frustrating piece of technology I've ever owned and I would recommend anyone to not buy it. Maybe if you choose to buy it you'll get lucky and yours will work great, but it seems to be a gamble. A gamble which has cost me 400$.

zboom, 16 Mar 2015I am thinking about buying Oneplus One. Does it have any pr... moreUsing this for the past 2 weeks now. Absolutely no problems. I have had no heating issues. But remember one thing - Even on my Nexus 7 there is a mild heating when you play games for a long duration. Thats obvious because of the CPU/GPU push you are doing (in PCs you have fans to cool off).

For me the battery lasts nearly 2 days. My usage - atleast 30mins gaming (on moderately demanding games like GT Racing 2, real racing, Hill Climb racing) + All day Wifi + 3G, about 30-60mins of calls / texting and other routine usages.

I did not face any crashes with the built in apps so far (touch wood).

Yes, they do not provide headphones and I am cool with it (if you have interest in listening to good music you must have had one by now, anyways).

I loved the simplicity of the phone UI and the extent to which one can use the customizations to their needs.

People say not having Lollipop version is -ve. I beg to differ. As I said I have Nexus 7 and I have used Android 5. Except for few UI gimmicks, I dont miss 5.0 at all on my OPO. But I only wished they had an option to not get preinstalled with all google apps like newstand, movies, games and what not. I cant seem to uninstall them (I can disable though).

With the specs and performance on this phone, trust me you can be safe for atleast next 2 years.

OPO has more RAM, higher resolution, faster processor, amazing community, good front camera and decent back camera. OnePlus already stated that OPO will get Lollipop update in between mid March - early April. Moto G is really good phone if you're on budget and it also has advantage over OnePlus One such as faster software update and good customer support. It really based on how much your money and what you want in a phone.

Battery life is perfect if you get good unit ( Well, I don't think there is perfect phone in this world. There is always bad unit and manufacturing problem. It really based on your luck ). App crash ? I think it is a software problem because it happen once to me and I change to other ROM after that the problem is gone. I can say that this is the best phone with a really good price. The only dark side when buying this phone is bad customer support/service but I heard OnePlus has improved their customer support/service
