my oppo a3s 3 weeks old has poor camera not clear and too blight why?

    Anonymous , 06 Dec 2018Y6 is better than a3s Y6 better than A3S? Are you kidding. A3S has SD450 while Y6 only has SD425. A3S is superior, better camera, better battery backup, better performance, better sceeen quality, better design.

            Pros
            - For GPS navigation, the performance is quite good. I expected I'm going to miss junctions a lot but during my travel few days ago, it's doesn't really happening. Plus with low power consumption, I can travel for more than 6 hours on single charge. If you're going to use this phone for navigation (especially those that are doing e-hailing), give this phone a consideration.

            - audio performance over headphone jack is nothing to shout nor complaining about. it get the job done.

            Cons
            - turning on options in developer mode and accessibility menu will make the status bar flashing in orange color which is really annoying if you're depending on those

            -even if you choose to live with that annoying notification, the accessibility option will revert/turn off after few minutes.

            -can't add 3rd party call/messaging app into battery saving ignore list. which is really bad if you use network that depend on VPN services

            -transferring file from PC to phone is not working. by right it should show USB setting so user can choose between different USB mode (MTP/charging only etc) but it's not showing at all. turning on those option in developer mode also doesn't help.

            So the conclusion is, don't give high expectation to this phone. It can get some of your job done but at current market price, better look elsewhere first.

                diana, 03 Dec 2018i looking for the big memory phone coz easy for me to save ... morejust try for expanding memory on your phone to purchase a memory card and save your pics and job on it. my son own this unit and he has no claim about it( he is one week only he bought the device.

                            I been using oppo a3s for about 5months and after the new update..it wont open anymore..i was playing ML last night and it turned off by itself..unfortunately up until now i can open it..

                                Bought this recently for MYR199 (equivalent to USD 48) from my network provider. Since I already own a Pixel 2, for me, it's worthy as backup phone. But if you're looking for a phone that can serve you primarily for quite some time, skip this one.

                                Pros
                                - Screen is large for casual gaming or YouTube viewing
                                - Battery last quite long. I can play game Ragnarok M for 6 hours while still retaining more than 40%
                                - it's really cheap for a large phone with notch (certainly doesn't look cheap)
                                - performance overall is smooth enough for light to moderate usage

                                Cons
                                - speaker easily covered no matter how I hold the phone during viewing video or gaming in horizontal (solved with my bluetooth headphone)
                                - for the battery size, no quick charge support and included charger brick is only 5W. Even with my QC 3.0 charger, full charge from 50% will take more than 2 hours (solved with overnight charging)
                                - gaming performance is barely there for MMO game. (solved somewhat by changing the graphic renderer to OpenGL SKIA in developer options, just need to turn it on back after phone restart)
                                - no option to move app to external storage, at all. Although android 8.0 support this feature and I can even try to force it in developer setting, the option still missing due to ColorOS itself.
                                - remaining storage is really low. from 16GB, only 7-8GB available for user. after installing standard app (facebook/whatsapp etc), only left with 4-5GB
                                - camera is BAD. just don't expect a miracle here.

                                Things I haven't test
                                - GPS signal and navigation
                                - audio quality over headphone
