chrispers, 10 Dec 2018my oppo a3s 3 weeks old has poor camera not clear and too b... moreFelt the same way about the camera but when i used the camera in day light the picture quality improved also i am using an app called OPEN CAMERA which improves the pic quality in low light.thanks

The storage is lousy,in total only having 16GB.The top of the phone has a thing that blocks your screen,and I find that very annoying as it blocks my game screen when I am playing games.

if you only have 2GB ram for sure it will close and crash
the more the update the heavier the game runs
you need more RAM

compare to vivo :Oppo A3s 1)sms letter too small ,2) poor using flash to take camera at night which vivo has sharp & good pic for using flash, 3)date display too small on home screen on A3s. Whats good on A3s are ringing,volume,loud speaker,video volume ,camera good taking day time or outdoor but no good in low night, (Vivo better in low night) ,A3s calculator has to turn phone to landscreen mode only show % while vivo show straight on main screen and also got history record ,overall A3s better battery, camera better in normal use and it shows whatsapp in phone contact after backup to gmail (vivo not showing in phone contact list after backup to gmail,has to go to whatsapp app to find who using whatapp and can not key in only MR,MS,MRS IN VIVO phone ,it will show unknown number ,if you key in MR J ,then vivo phone will put it under J ,so you search for start with M,you cant find MR j,you have to search J then only can find MR J under J column

Anonymous , 06 Dec 2018Y6 is better than a3s Y6 better than A3S? Are you kidding. A3S has SD450 while Y6 only has SD425. A3S is superior, better camera, better battery backup, better performance, better sceeen quality, better design.

Pros
- For GPS navigation, the performance is quite good. I expected I'm going to miss junctions a lot but during my travel few days ago, it's doesn't really happening. Plus with low power consumption, I can travel for more than 6 hours on single charge. If you're going to use this phone for navigation (especially those that are doing e-hailing), give this phone a consideration.
- audio performance over headphone jack is nothing to shout nor complaining about. it get the job done.
Cons
- turning on options in developer mode and accessibility menu will make the status bar flashing in orange color which is really annoying if you're depending on those
-even if you choose to live with that annoying notification, the accessibility option will revert/turn off after few minutes.
-can't add 3rd party call/messaging app into battery saving ignore list. which is really bad if you use network that depend on VPN services
-transferring file from PC to phone is not working. by right it should show USB setting so user can choose between different USB mode (MTP/charging only etc) but it's not showing at all. turning on those option in developer mode also doesn't help.
So the conclusion is, don't give high expectation to this phone. It can get some of your job done but at current market price, better look elsewhere first.
