About the flickering, I've noticed the Xperia 5 having this issue on TechSpurt's

video on Youtube.
He didn't mention anything about it tho.

Tried changing the brightness and also tried with the phone charging. No flickering issue. Maybe the one you used was defective.

I'mPhone, 16 Dec 2019I am living in SE Asia country, I have seen this in a phone... moreI guess I lucked out. I don't have any screen issues. As for the back it is made out of plastic but I don't mind since it won't shatter like glass and I always use a case and even so it still looks nice with the marine green color I have. The camera is a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor so it'll be very similar to the Redmi Note 7. However since the phone has the mono sensor it does better HDR than the Redmi Note 7. But other than the HDR the main 48MP camera is VERY similar to the Redmi Note 7.

Something very strange about the screen.
It flickers heavily and the pixels are not evenly distributed.
Try it for yourselves. Get another phone, open the camera app, and point it on the oppo's screen and watch. You can see really bad flickering and strange pixelated flickering.
It's really bad. I can imagine this will cause eye strain/headaches and fatigue after viewing the screen for an hour or more

Yes the screen is very bad, and the back is plasticky. I haven't tested the camera though. But it seemed the Samsungs are better in terms of the display despite the screen flicker problem (generally low PWM across models, blue tint display).

Jennison, 15 Dec 2019which one is better ....Huawei Honor view 20 or Oppo A9 2020
Depends on what you want. Overall the performance, screen and main 48MP camera of the Honor View 20 is better. However if you want longer lasting bigger battery and an ultrawide camera go for the A9 2020. Also the View 20 doesn't have an SD card slot if that matters to you.
For me it'll go down to the price. If the A9 is cheaper in your region I'll go for A9 despite being less powerful the SD665 is enough to handle any modern game just decent at its best graphics setting. But it is playable at highest graphics. It also handles emulating GT PSP if you're wondering.
TL;DR Honor View 20 for better performance, higher resolution screen (in my opinion the difference doesn't really matter), better main 48MP camera. A9 2020 for bigger battery, SD support, ultrawide camera. I'd pick the A9 if it's as a daily use power house. I'd pick the View 20 if I need that High framerate and graphics.

Miles, 13 Dec 2019So to all oppo users I want to ask since I'm planning to bu... moreIt's been 1.5months and the phone runs perfectly. I recommend going for the 8GB Ram option it'll help. So far now slow downs despite running with battery saving always on. So not its full capable speed but good for having YouTube, Browsers, Social media all open without slowing the phone down especially with that 8GB Ram. App switching is still fast. Almost used all the 128GB the phone comes with including the SD card I put in. That's not slowing the phone down either.
TL;DR after 1 month phone runs perfectly fine. Even with almost full storage capacity and a bunch of apps open.
