Oppo is selling us a sub-par phone by the name F1s which should not cost over INR 9k. It comes with cheap SoC, cheap display and an amount of RAM which this cheap SoC will never be able to use but is still there for marketing reasons.

A million dollar Ferrari will always consume more fuel than Maruti Suzuki Alto. But in a stretch of road the Ferrari (SD 652) will show a clean pair of heels to Alto (P10). It will devastate the Alto with its supreme performance. In the end of the day 10 out of 10 people will choose Ferrari as the better car.

          With more performance comes more energy consumption. If P10 was that good, MediaTek would have never made a more performance oriented, more expensive Helios X10.

          X10 is superior to P10 hands down, hence it costs more and yeah heats more. With performance comes heat. But that heat does not reduces its life expectancy as it is made to withstand the heat.

          But to you the cheapest MT6750 SoC of F1Plus is best and their most expensive chipset like X10 and X20 are a total waste. Now that's something totally new. You should inform your thought to MediaTek. :)

This is last... moreWhat I get is you may have used some budget and mid end handsets and then you start judging a phone brand by your own experience which is ok. But also need to experience their flagships in order to truly gudge what they are technically capable off. Using a budget below INR 8k handset from Lenovo and then saying they are not capable of making good phones is totally wrong.

            And also you comments are totally vague. In my humble opinion I feel you do not understand the technologies that goes into making a smartphone and how to gudge a phone.

            I mean how you differentiate between "cheap performance" and "branded performance"? These are totally hypothetical terms used by you which have no real world meaning.

                      Hi. I've been using Oppo F1S for a month now. So far I am satisfied with this phone.. But I got hard time clearing my RECENT TASK. It always stay in my recent tasks even after swiping apps out. If I let them in my tasks, it consumes my mobile data even if unused. Would you please let me know what should I do to clear them in one click?. I just restarting it from time to time.. Please help me! Thanks.. 😊

Right now holding this phone in my hands and writing this comment. I have been using this phone for over a month. Believe this is a superb phone. I was using galaxy s6 before this one.

                        It is the slimmest set i have ever hold in my hands. Superb battery life using single sim of course.
                        No lags. An alternative of iphone. I have iphone 6 plus in my family. But this one is best.

                          Who even buy a 720p display and this crap chipset of f1s when there is tons of other brands like lenovo, moto and xiamoi offering much better in same price.

                          Not sure its oppo or poop
                          but people you have much better options than this f1s in the market .. Only fools going for this f1s ignoring other options

But comparisons have also revealed that due to 28nm processor, sd652 tends to heat up quite aggressively but p10 doesn't. Also heating issue depends partially on phone's heat management technology. SD652 also drains battery much faster than p10. So the comparison explained p10 as a better processor as far as durability and long term performance is concerned.

This is last time I'm talking to you. Do you really experienced these phones?? Or just laying? I am a huge fan of Samsung's quality control for last 6 years. Although note 7 cricis put a question on it. Anyways, I have experienced indepthly s s3 s4mini s6 s7 edge, j7 j7 prime, Lenovo 6000, z2, even moto g3 turbo moto e2. I know what branded quality is. When I say branded performance, I doesn't mean only processor performance or jaw dropping specs on paper, I mean long term a to z challenges that a smartphone faces successfully in its life. Samsung succeeded while Lenovo and micromax didn't. This is a difference between cheap performance and branded performance. Now when I got oppo f1s two months ago, and this outshined my excellent j7 prime. So I sold j7 prime and now oppo f1s is my secondary phone. I'm now confident that real life performance is millions of times important than paper specs. Enough, I don't wanna talk more with you so let's finish this discussion.

                                  Well.. this phone do use the cheap and low quality processor but it working good to me. I had bought this phone and im really satisfied.. i have l10+ games like fifa,pvz, pokemon, asphalt, clash royale and many more but my phone never lag or hang.. about the battery... i charge to 100% then i used it for a day and it still have like 20-30%.. first.. if u dont want play any apps.. dont let it running in the background... about the camera.. well the rear camera is just good.. but the front camera is perfect.. the resolution.. yeah it just hd ready but it enough for me bcuz.. heating like hell issues.. never happen.. so, i would recommend to buy this amazing phone, remember in china, oppo is a bigger company than vivo.. Well.. just see the snapdragon 652 vs Mediatek mt6750 on internet.. the snapdragon may have higher ghz clocked and higher resolution but mali is a better gpu.. thats why samsung use it

Can you kindly elaborate what you mean by "real brand" and "real branded performance"? If real branded performance is all about real life performance then Oppo F1s is low quality product. This phone continuously drop frames while playing Asphalt 8, courtesy to it super cheap & low quality MediaTek MT6750 SoC and very cheap and low quality 720p display which is not even FullHd.

                                    Have I experienced quality phones? I think I have after using Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, OnePlus 1, Vivo X5Max, Lenovo Vibe X3, Vivo V3Max. I was even gifted an Oppo F1 Plus. Boy did I laugh when I saw the pesky MediaTek P10 on the INR 28k F1 Plus when the Vivo V3Max was armed with Snapdragon 652 & available at INR 19k. After 5 months real world usage of both phones, Vivo blew Oppo out of the window in terms of performance. Product quality wise I found both to be identical, but performance wise Vivo was way superior.

                                        Very nice FF cam. What i dont like about this phone is that it feels like a premium imitation/copy to apple iphones. I like the design but its a very much copy to iphones designs. And an android lollipop is quite old. And frankly speaking it has a super boring UI. Just my thoughts about this phone. Please dont hate me peace✌
