Mediatek officially state that it only support up to 720p display. There is no FHD. Gsmarena reviews on its performance:

"Compared to the MT6755(in F1 Plus), the MT6750 isn't true octa-core and has a lower clock speed on both the CPU and GPU. Plus, it also lacks the benefits of the 16nm production process. Performance-wise this all leaves the F1s at pretty much the same level as the original F1 if not worse. And that is not ideal for a proper successor smartphone, isn't it?

At least you still get 3GB of RAM, which is plenty for multitasking, and the 720p resolution is quite easy on the silicone when it comes to gaming performance. But overall, synthetic benchmarks look disappointing."

          Hello! I'm planning to buy Oppo F1s or F1s Plus this month. Yes, I am amazed with the 16 MP front camera, but how about using it on videocall using wechat/skype/Line and facebook app? has anyone tried it? Thanks in advance.

            Its a worst phone. The operating system is really a waste. There are lot of flaws in the user interface.
            The development team sucks. They have created some stupid OS. The menu is not at all user friendly. For everything we have to manually do the options.
            There is no option to copy messages to sim card. There is no option to block calls without a ring and without display of blocked call.
            Vibration is very dull.
            Sound quality is worst both in calls and speakers.
            Oppo is not doing anything to fix all these issues. Shame on them. This phone is not at all worth for 18k. Other small phones like vivo and gionee are giving gud features and hardware for lesser price. Don't go for oppo

                      First, it has problem with run keeper apps, it loses gps track so easily and once that happen, my run keeper stop counting my distance. Second, it can't operate well with telegram apps. Im an avid telegram user bcause the requiremnt in workplace. But my telegrm keep 'searching for network' whilst other messaging apps such as whatsapp didnt have problem. I'm trading in my new oppo f1s for something better.

You are completely wrong, first thing is mtk6750 supports full HD display. Second thing is that a powerful processor with full HD display doesn't necessarily mean huge battery draining. If a company puts a powerful processor and a full HD display in it's product, then why not it optimises it's battery to last long? SD 652 is an excellent processor and can do better than MTK 6750 if it is optimised well. If vivo knew that they can't optimise this, then why they put this processor in v3max? Do you know,consistent over heating issue just like in v3 Max can damage it's motherboard soon, then the hard earned money will go to hell. Why will any one buy a smartphone if it doesn't last long? If performance is extremely necessary, then people can buy laptops instead of smartphone, if camera is extremely necessary then people can buy DSLR cameras,but a smartphone is not all about processors or camera or even battery, it is a combination of hardwares (processor,camera, display, battery) and excellent software optimisation to perform perfectly and deliver for long. Not like others who show brilliance for few days and fade away. That's why oppo f1s is much better than v3 Max. And for those who want long lasting perfect performance and care about their hard earned money.

It is strange I am using V3Max for the last six months and never observed this phenomenon. :)

                                You say Oppo F1s have better battery backup, but you do not take into account that it uses a low quality & cheap Mediatek MT6750 Soc which is so weak it does not even support FullHD display resolution. It even lacks basic needs like fast charging, even the excellent Oppo VOOC charging is not supported here. Where as for the same price, Vivo V3Max ships with a powerful, expensive & game ready Snapdragon 652 SoC, FullHD/1080p high quality display and support for fast charging.

                                If V3Max juice comes to an end slightly earlier than F1s due to its more power SoC & higher resolution display, it gives you the option of fast charging which F1s does not provide. 0 to 100% battery in just 1.5 hrs where as F1s will take 2.5 hours to reach there.

                                      Given a choice between the FullHD display of more expensive Oppo F1Plus & just HD display of cheaper F1s, I will definitely pick the former. FullHD is just better than HD. But i believe that clause does not work for you which is quite a surprise.

                                      I wonder why even Oppo cared to put a better quality FullHD display in F1Plus, they would have done well so well with HD display only..... after all their users just want HD displays.
