I stopped by the Oppo store in Denpasar, Bali the other day to check on pre-ordering. Then they wanted Idr 18,000,000 (Indonesian Rupiah) or about $1200 depending on the exchange rate. My cheap side took over and I didn't order. I'll wait to read the longer term reviews for the X2Pro, OnePlus and the Xiaomi 10 Pro 5G. I'm in no rush. It's not like phones are an investment. Plus prices should drop on everything from Samsung to every other new model as the pandemic creates panic and pandemonium. I did see the comment about Oppo not updating. That was of some concern. Maybe updates are better here in Indonesia, one of Oppo's biggest markets.

Why people keep on saying overprice. They say oppo is low profit making but this phone here deserves all it's Price. It's top class, it's not because oppo is not very famous that it will sell top tech for low that's not business. The price reflects the tech used in this phone and we can say it has the best internals overall. This is the best phone of 2020. So people should stop complaining or go and buy cheaper.

Interesting. Based on online pre-orders (with partial payments), Find X2 Pro out-sells Find X2 (non-pro), 3 to 1.

Disappointing that the design holds no relation to the original Find X. This might be a good phone in its own right but should not have been called the Find X2/pro.
The reason I bought the original Find X was due to its revolutionary, stunning, gorgeous design - there were many flagships with similar specs at the time just as there are now with the Find X2/pro, so there's no compelling reason to buy this device this time. More so that it lacks wireless charging & 3D face unlock.
Why couldn't Oppo base the design of this phone on the original Find X with some changes to accommodate the improvements?
