i'm anxious about s22u charging speed even with 45w charger. it takes an hour to charge to 100% from 30%. especially morning since i woke up at 5:20am then leave house at 6:20am while my find x2 pro can easily charge it within 25~30mins. i don't charge my phone overnight i'm afraid and i can't sleep when i have gadgets charging and left unattended.

I just bought back this phone after months of jumping phones to phones. I used this for a year since 2021 and 'upgraded' to Find X3 Pro but it overheats. S21 Ultra but feels lacking, then moved to iPhone 13 Pro Max but feels too heavy and then to iPhone 13 Pro, great little device with great battery but I couldn't live without call recording function, movie player with MKV support, super fast charging and super long zoom.
Find X3 Pro is an overheated POS. That phone overheats when calling, charging, or taking pics and vids. Utter crap. Downgraded zoom camera, storage, battery life and processor.
S21 Ultra was good but I hated the Samsung Account and their duplicate apps. I don't need two of app store, web browser, etc2. Too many bloatware as I call it. Charging is also slower and the 5000mah while sounds big but in reality only marginally better than Find X2 Pro's 4260mah. To my surprise the zoom quality is also marginally better, and the video zoom is only 20x max vs Find X2 Pro's 30x max. The 100x pic zoom is almost similar to Find X2 Pro's 60x scale to 100x.
iPhone 13 Pro Max is so good it's terrible. The battery life is so good it left me working hard to get it low enough to charge it back. I'm usually left with >50% charge at 12pm every day with about 5-6 hour of SOT. So I can't charge it yet, so now I start the next day with ~50% and I'm anxious about it even though I know I will last me another day. It ruins my schedule. And since the build quality is too good, it's also too heavy. I can't take it jogging, can't put it down in my jeans fully, slides everywhere, and I fear it could break my nose if I slip it while watching movies at night.
iPhone 13 Pro solves all this and was perfect. I get about 7 hour of SOT with20% battery remaining every night. Size is perfect. But I miss some functions in Oppo Find X2 Pro.
So here I am, back at this almost 3 year old phone. With orange leather variant this time. I can get around 5-6 hour of SOT (similar use case with every phone) but the charging is fast so it cancels the bad battery life.
tldr: I can still recommend this phone even in 2023.

Mine is still going strong! I bought it when it first came out! I'm still waiting for a worthy oppo or OnePlus successor to replace my x2 Pro! So far, the newer models are not worth it! The zoom camera is something else and I can't go to a phone without it anymore! Battery could be better, but it charges super fast! Amazing phone overall, very well built and long lasting! It can easily take me another 2 years! Only big issue is the screen, it scratches extremely easily and I made the mistake to remove the screen protector after a year without replacing it.

But the 67W charger makes it great as fast to charge. I stopped charging at night. A car charger is also working great at 67W.
It has two camera bugs at 30fps (tearing) and night use (32 seconds), otherwise no major issues with the phone after 2 years of daily use. Nice screen, but latest phone models likely has a better camera - especially the most expensive iPhone 14 Pro video recording.
GCam seems to make no difference. Except Night shot seems to avoid 32 second bug, while video simply crashes - cannot use GCam for video, only photos.
It runs android 12. Nice screen, I cannot read text on pixel 4a due to small screen/fonts, while no issue with Oppo. Excellent sound when connected to car, from my perspective.
GPS is sometimes not accurate in Waze, but most of the time no issues.
I always want the "best" camera, so it would be my main reason to upgrade.

Issa, 23 Oct 2022I am thinking about buying the find x2 pro, do you advise m... moreMaybe only on my model, but 30fps has tearing. 60fps works, but wide angle video demands 30fps. Also night shots now takes 32 seconds after update to android 12. These two bugs I assume will never be corrected.
It says dual SIM here, but mine has just one SIM. I'm considering Pixel 7 Pro...as I think it might have a better camera.

I have phone 2 years and il not change him at least year maybe two! Camera are top in every way,day and night photos! 2022 flagship phone are not gone 5 maybe at best 10% in some aspects like LTPO screen, little bigger battery but in camera department they are not.I done comparation with i 14 pro max, Samsung s21,22 ultra, Xiaomi 11,12 pro and this camera is still neck to neck with all of them i. every way. With this phone you can't get wrong.

Camera & Gcam - ever since android 12, I still searching for Gcam that support all Main, Wide & Telephoto .. my current Gcam that I use only support Main but it did improved the image quality. Stock processing just good.. not bad but not excellent either as current flagships.
Battery - My X2 pro already 2year+ and battery life still acceptable with whole day battery life around 5+ hours SoT with 4G only, QHD display,60hz refresh rate & always on display.
65w charge really useful as it only took less than 1 hour to fully charges. Advertised of 38 minutes charges are slightly off as battery is aging. The display is still great as it still produces accurate colors & usable under bright sunlight. So does the speakers. Just do some EQ & it will sound closely as current iPhone.
At the end, if you really want to try Oppo Find X series, just get the Find X3 or go straight to Find X5 as those will have longer software support and a little bit of upgrade over Find X2. They just missing X2 Pro 5X periscope zoom. Or wait Find X6 with rumours that it will have 1 inches camera sensor.
