Oppo R17 now available in India, exclusively on Amazon
Oppo has started selling the R17 in India. The phone is priced at INR 34,990 ($500) and will be available exclusively online on Amazon.
The R17 is a mid-range smartphone from Oppo. It has a 6.4-inch, 2340x1080 resolution OLED display with a built-in fingerprint sensor. It has a teardrop notch design with a thin chin. This is basically the same display as that on the OnePlus 6T.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 with an octa-core CPU (2x 2.0GHz Kryo 360 Gold + 6x 1.7GHz Kryo 360 Silver) and Adreno 615 GPU. It also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The R17 has a dual camera on the back with a 16MP f1.7 primary and 5MP f2.4 depth sensor. On the front is a 24MP f2.0 camera.
The phone has a 3500mAh battery with Oppo's VOOC charging. The phone runs on Oppo's ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1.
The Oppo R17 will be available in two colors, Ambient Blue and Neon Purple.

INR 35000 asking price for a mid-range 670 processor and specs? No thanks, I will rather buy OnePlus flagship.

But UNFORTUNATELY NO microsd slot unlike Oppo R17 Pro which comes with that, but NO 3.5mm jack.

Same design as oneplus 6t but oppo has managed to add 3.5 mm jack. With ud fingerprint sensor
