Our Sony Xperia 5 video review is up

Vlad, 04 October 2019

Sony announced the Xperia 5 back at IFA as a sort of smaller sibling to the Xperia 1, and now that the compact flagship is starting to arrive in stores, you may be wondering what it's all about. We're hoping you've already gone through our in-depth written review of the Xperia 5, and today we're bringing you our complementary video review.

It tells you everything you need to know about the phone in just over eight minutes. It's jam packed with information about what is one of the smallest high-end devices out there (by comparison to mainstream Android flagships). So sit back, grab some popcorn or your beverage of choice, and enjoy the ride.

The video covers the Xperia 5's positioning in Sony's lineup, how its size impacts one-handed use, the software, design, build quality, button placement, the fingerprint reader, the tall notchless screen, stereo speakers and dynamic vibration system, headphone performance, battery life and fast charging, system performance and storage, SideSense, and, of course, camera quality.
