when you can pick up two superior phones being the Nokia N900 or the HTC HD 2 for around £600 for 18 months unlimited txt and web plus 700 mins, why would anyone pay nearly £800 for this on O2 with the same package?

it's too expensive,considering it specs are bit outdated. new phones are way ahead of it. webOs is cool but not worth nearly 500 euro

i went to the city today and had a demo on the palm pre it is amazing little device the only problem is it is a bit small compare
to the satio and i phone. but it looks amazing the pictures on line to do not give it justice you can use 4 applications without it crashing i dont know if this is a iphone killer buti think if everyone buys one they wil not be disapoinmented

I just went to the O2 shop and was amazed by the Fisher Price toy feel of the Pre ...
Didn't feel solid enough for me to bother looking at it further.

It seems will have MicroSD expansion lot. Matuk (the mexican engadget) have one and posted 2 videos in YouTube.

Unlike most of you people who just seem to complain, this phone is absolutely amazing, the way it organizes info is completely astounding, and the UI is cutting edge, i've had no problems whatsoever with this phone, and if palm builds on WEBOS software, it will really be a heavy contender for the iphone (which I already think it is. The multi-tasking capabilities of this phone is beyond any I have seen, and I can tell you, I've been through a LOT of phones. On the down side, i think the batter life could be a bit better, I don't know, but maybe it's just how i use it, I'll listen to maybe 1 1/2 hours of music and then take a call for like 30 mins, and I'll need to charge..lol, maybe i'm just expecting too much. all in all..GOOD JOB PALM

i dont own a Pre, but i do own a Centro, which virtually has the same type of keypad; i've also owned an E71. 1 week of use is all it takes to get used to it, definitely usable
