great phone with great features and functions. however, there are three weak points: poor reception, (not working) speakerphone, and the camera (only 30K). being a pda phone for business persons, poor reception is just unacceptable.

u can use bluebooth connection to connect to your home computer, making your PC work like a wireless router and creating a wireless network, to get online.

it holds days of call records (over 80 call-logs).

Hey does anyone know how many Call records this phone holds? Like Received calls, dialed calls, missed called? I know most phones hold up to around 10 but I need a lot of call records for business and stuff. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

excellent pda phone. it has the best office application (excel,word etc)display and tools features.battery life is absolutely acceptable (minimum 2 days).the draw back its not very solid on network as compared to nokia and goes for the boot but i guess that a protection mode. but otherwise as far as pda phone is concerened all the others like p910i, nikia comunicator etc looks like toys in front of treo 650. i would strongly recommend to anyone who uses office application and tasks feature and who doesnt travel much outside the town .

I have treo 650 handset it is very good but now a days observed frequently goes in to hangup and i have reset often. (photo quality is good)

Anyone know how to unlock the wifi drivers to use the 700w wifi card on the 650? I know there was an earlier version but the newer 650s have an updated firmware so it is said that the hack doesn't work anymore. I don't like the big wifi sled that can be attached. I'd rather not make the phone any bigger than it is...

i have a question, the Hotsync for tro650, is it true took so long time? i spent for around 5~10 minutes for each time of hotsync. the item i syncronize is calender, contact, document to go and INBOX to go.. the inbox to go tooks the most longest time.
any solution?

all phones use 160 characters in SMS and the confirmation is only for MMS, this is because MMS are send over internet, this is for all kind of phones. If you already have the treo 650 i'll not recomend the "update" for any treo 700.

I try with Treo 650 to find confirmation for the sms message but is not possible .It exist only for MMS. Another bad thing in treo 650 it is that sms are only with 160 characters. So, for this reason I want to change Treo 650 with Ttreo 700. It exist Treo 700w (windows mobile 5) and Treo 700p same operativ system like Treo 650. Can any of you help me in which of thees 2 models have sms confirmation & also sms with more then 160 character in one sms.

Does Treo 650 can syncronize the data such as Active sync? i beieve for sync of contact, email is not a problem, what i means is the document like excel, words data. in Pocket pc, it can be updated automatically for all the data which stored in a special folder, this treo650 is same?

hey i've been using my palm650 for two months now and not a prob.i love it(the touch screen)and it's features.i will recommend it for business people and people who needs reminders.

hi, the enfora wifi it does work with the treo 650, the screen is touch sensitive, for video recording there is an icon in the camera interface en the bottom left of the screen, it records in 176*144@15fps and 352*288@7fps in 3gp format.

I do not find the ikon for the video camera on the screen among other ikons. I find only ikon of the still camera. Can I download the software required to operate the camera to capture video films. Need site adress , if available.
