I've been using this Xenium for about a month, and have tested the talking time was 8 hrs 45 mnts (so it's longer than manual says: 8 hrs 30 mnts). Overall it's great and it'll better than the upcoming new Xenium model (the candybar design: 9@9-8).

I have the Philips 650 now for a month and i love the design. The performance of the battery is really outstanding. More than 2 weeks standby with regular use. Phonemenu is also great. Ringtones are to weak but that's the only thing on the phone i can find.

I have the phone for 3 weeks now. I love the battery life. I only charged it once, and it already lasts for over 2 weeks with regular calling. I also think the quality of the sound is very good and the handsfree option is perfect (the other one can hear u and u can hear him).
For me there are no negative points.

By holding both phones in my hand: 650 and 855, I can say that build quality of 650 is better.
Now that I've been using 650 for a while I can say that it is a great phone, the only thing that needs improovement is software.
The most important fault is that it does not show a missed call or message on the outer display. I have firmware version 12 and it does not even blink every now or then. I think it should simply light one pixel and leave it on in case of a missed call or message.
Since version 15 already blinks now and then we will probably see some further improovement concerning this function.

If you don't need a camera, I would suggest you a Philips 650 as it has much longer battery life. Otherwise they are more or less the same - both look great in my oppionion ;)

You can only save it to archive manually. The default inbox is in the SIM.... I also hope Philips can provide the option the auto store in archive.... ha ha

To users that bought this phone in Malaysia
Can some one post your firmware version. I need to verify my version whether it is older then the rest out there. Called the service center but they don't have the info. You can follow the procedure posted by Brainstorm below to display the version.
Thanks.

Has anyone experienced that the blue OLED suddenly lights up with no outstanding items? It does not go off until you open & close the flip.
