ok so instead of looking at this phone for it's LOOKS (which i actually do like) i am gonna talk about FEATURES!! i've had 3 nokia phones in the past which i have liked. i switched to a phillips phone as it offeres me more functionality and much better features. unfortunatly the only down side so far is that i was not supplied with a cable to transfer images to and from, and i am still fighting getting the e-mail working (though i think this is more of a server issue) there is actually a contrast adjustment, and the battery life is impressive.

Philips make reliable phone, and this one as a very good design and a lot of function for the cheapest price of the market, for me it's the best quality/price rate! Do you prefer a t68i for 1 year and a lot of problem or a fisio 820 for a long long time?

This phone is too small, very ugly, childish and lacks triband. Don't waste your money on this crap, buy a T68i instead. Shame, because Philips make great cordless phones - unfortunately their mobiles are substandard.

Hi everybody, carrefully look at this product, it is likely to be the best phone
you have ever seen. Unfortunately, its most impressives features are hidden but state yourself:
- Up to 400 Hours stand-by battery and 5h30 for talk time. Compare with Nokia and Ericsson, it speaks for itself !
- Mechanical robustness. Currently, I think that only Nokia can compete Philips with regard to this feature.
- User interface. This is simply the best. The carrousel award the IF design in Hanover CeBIT 2000.
- Applications: Many applications have been embedded and Voice Recognition is very efficient.
Finally, maybe the only drawback I found is related to the lack of contrast for the color screen display. Yet, this drawback appears also in Trium Eclipse and Sony-Ericsson T68.
At the moment I rate it as the Best Choice in the premium tier category of products.
Best Regards,

Philips Sucks big time, I mean, let them stick with their home electronic products and not envolving their selves in mobiles, Nokia rules cuz its the #1 leading Mobile company in Europe and around the world, and because of some people who consider them self jerks and say they know everything, please don't judge by looking to some pictures of the mobiles here ...go to the retailers and TRY the phone!

This is state of the art! Again, after the OZEO and XENIUM a nice design for a mobile phone. When it's available i gonna get one. And, for all those NOKIA (...DISconnecting people...) lovers, throw it away. Nokia sucks!

To Mark: I don't know what you're talking about, because this mobile isn't so small. It's just great that a manufacturer like philips who doesn't play a big role in the mobile phone industry made a mobile that is more beautifull and completer than other mobiles of the leading manufacturers. Many people thought that Philips would be backing out of the market, but with this phone they show the opposit...

I like this phone. It would suit me better than T68, as it is smaller, lighter, has more pixels, longer standby-time (shorter talk-time though!) and loads of memory to store things. And the USB is also cool. The tri-band in the T68 is nice, but I'm hardly ever in the US. Philips has done a really good job on this phone, compared to its previous models and I am waiting for it to come to the stores!
