As it was one of a few free upgrades from Orange I went for the fisio 820. Yes people say its a sexy looking phone and I agree with them. It's also small and light enough to go in your jacket pocket without you knowing its there. Yes the menu system has won awards. But that's where the good things end for me.
1. Only stores about 10 sms.
2. Reception for me is pretty bad compared to my old 6210.
3. There are so many buttons to press and it gets confusing so it's not user-friendly. Even after having this for a week, writing 10 sms a day, I still press the wrong buttons - and I have to press more of them. Intuitively, it doesn't work for me.

Why should I put up with this? Sexy yes, small yes but there's gotta be something better!

This phone is great. Is there a sites that download own melodu for philips?
Are they planning to upgrade its software so we can compose our own ringtones? We could we find cables for this one?

Hi: Im using Philips Fisio 820 since 2 months and is found to be good. But also have some difficulties here in singapore like could not find accessories like bluetooth headset, cover for the phone, Picture SMS received from Nokia model phones is not properly aligned or weird, ringtones can't be downloaded or recd from Nokia model phones. But otherwise a good model.

Cool design. No games though :-(
The ringtones are pretty limited too and no facility for composing your own :-(
Anyone know any good websites for ringtones for this phone ???
Haven't used the WAP stuff yet.

Close but no cigar. Can't get bluetooth to work and Phillips/Orange is no help ("is that a computer thing?"). Other devices see this one, but it can't detect anything. Otherwise is good. Returned the phone.

Oh! So small! Great design. So sophisticated. I was waiting for this phone for long time and finally I got it! This is great phone having great fun! This is unique, great carousal Manu (IF Design Award Winner). Top marks to Philips for making great phone and sexy design.

Long battery life, long standby mode, and nice big trucolour display, some innovative tunes! I like Sonar, oh! So cute!

It is time for Nokia and others to rethink about their phones. Philips is really winner with this FISIO-820. Congratulation to Philips for innovative and great design phone

works great, looks good, feels good. no games though, but no real loss to me. Screen is really good to look at. Keys are well positioned and functional, the whole package is nice to use! As long as you can put up with the lack of games, this is a good bet!!!

This could be a great phone! It has everything except games which will be its downfall as all major competitors have games using full colour in their phones.

oh another small downpoint, which will no doubt improve, is the lack of ringtones/logos/wallpapers available, but seeing as this phone is relativly new, i expect this will pick up
