Poco M3 Pro 5G to have Dimensity 700 chipset

Sagar, 14 May 2021

Poco execs recently revealed that the Poco M3 Pro 5G arriving on May 19 will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity chip instead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoC, which we now know is the Dimensity 700.

Poco hasn't divulged anything else about the M3 Pro 5G yet, but recently leaked renders revealed the smartphone's design. It will come in at least three colors, sport triple rear cameras, and pack a punch hole screen.

Poco M3 Pro 5G confirmed to have Dimensity 700 at the helm

This could be an LCD panel since the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but then the Redmi Note 10S launched in India yesterday also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader yet packs an AMOLED display, so we'll have to wait for more information to be sure about the type of panel used.

That said, the Poco M3 Pro 5G is said to be a Redmi Note 10 5G with a different design, and if that's true, you can expect it to come with a 6.5" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD, 48MP triple camera, 8MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.

With the official unveiling still five days away, you can expect Poco to tease more features of the M3 Pro 5G to build hype around it.
