I have had this phone for under a year, the battery is completely useless and it is impossible to get a replacement anywhere.my advice do not buy the pap5300duo as Ive found to my frustration it has been discontinued.

Great Phone! Sad that the support and the service centres are crap. On a brighter side: works extremely well for the price band. For those with battery issue - install battery doctor and take your time to configure the profiles, autoclean, scheduling etc - my record with skype and viber on is nearly 3 days normal use (I am not a big chatter). Install cleanmaster - helps as well! DO BUY an SD card and use it as a primary storage!!! I have rooted mine (shhh) in order to take a full advantage of the battery doctors underclocking feature which saves a huuugee amount of power (especially during the night) Having 2 sims is a bliss - one for those cheap international calls. DO NOT use the facebook app - it is draining power - use the mobile web version - same features much less power consumption. CON: cannot figure out how to run XBMC - crashes every time I run a stream :( Must be missing something or it is perhaps down to the low resolution of the screen.

I had problems with the battery and phone, it only held a charge for about 7 hrs, until it totally discharged one night. On carrying out a recharge, I have found it now holds a charge for at least 3 days, so make sure you run the battery right down and carry out a recharge, hopefully it may sort out some problems.

I have the prestigio 5300 duo but cannot use iplayer, itv player but can use 4oDemand. Have installed BBC Media player, have tried installing/uninstalling countless times but without success. Can't get Prestigio to answer my question on their help page. If I can't get iplayer I need to send it back.

Sparky, 16 Sep 2014Hi" I have a prestigio 5300 I too have had a battery p... morei've also had problems with the battery on two phones 1 went at about 6 months and the other at 9 months. both have swelled and you can't install the rear cover. i phoned the customer service who asked me to contact the official uk warrenty center for the uk they requested that i return the complete phone to them so they could test it but in testing it they would have to wipe the phone clean of all memory and it would take min of 21 days from when they finish testing it to return the phone wiped of all memory and they don't have loan phones! so i would have to buy another 4 phone or have use 4 old phones which either don't work or i had given away.i asked about buying another battery £15 each, 21 days delivery at least. i ask how long it would take to get a refund only to be told that they would not refund me as i had told them that the original batteries were defective. so i phone the uk customer care center and they started to tell me about other companies and how they opperated both were abolutely useless. i'm going to write to otelo.org.uk and trading standards

I have had my Multiphone 5300 Duo for a few weeks now and I love it. I can have 2 sim cards in, one for the internet and one for the phone. So far it hasn't let me down. Other people who have seen it have asked me where I got it and want to buy one.
On the down side, I can't get a 'Bump Case' that fits it and I have had to use a cut down screen protector, but that's OK. I would like to get a 'Bump Case' for it though.

Its back camra is ok, but front camra is not clear at all in better condition
i am using this phone now this time, other lookwise is nice and other features also
