I have Qteck 9600 (aka O2 Trio) and although is listed as compatible with TomTom Go, I am unable to get TomTom to recognise it as a phone that can access GPRS for Traffic Updates.
Error - Phone does not support Wireless Network (DUN). I know that this version of PDA has Internet Sharing (Bluetooth Pan) instead of Wireless Modem.

No problem pairing but is there any way to get Sat Nav to recognise PDA capability?

    Thanks

Very disappointing. Sounds fantastic but I could not send email although I could receive it. During phone calls whilst I could hear the other person fine they found I was either breaking up or fading in and out. I was really looking forward to this phone but have now returned it in favour of another.

My one real problem with Qtek 9600 is that it does not work in Japan whilst it is supposed to be a quadriband. I purchased it on internet, the company told me to revert to the local provider who told me that probably something was missing and they were unable to help. This is very fustrating as I still have to rely on more traditional methods !

This is not a bad phone, butit has some very negative features which I did not expect: a) horrile tones and limited range b) the wifi transmitter/receiver is very very poor (I can work with laptop but the signal does not even appear to reach it) c) DHCP is erratic: you have to used fixed IP and d) it is very uncomfortable to use outside in bright light.

Great smart phone. Software can be optimized by producer. I can not use voice recording.

The only thing which is very bad with Qtek 9600 (as with many Pocket PC) is alarm management. Never trust it if you don't want to arrive late in the office !

The camera is not autofocus. There's no autofocus on phones, rather what is called Hyperfocus. Which basically that everything from close to infinity should be sharp. In fact it is rather everything is pretty unsharp ;-)) Qtek 9600 has a manual focus, which is very fine, because now you will make sharp pictures !

in my previous message i was thinking about some sort of digital zoom. Does the qtek 9600 have some sort of digital zoom or is it just the 2mp resolution?thanks

i just read that the camera on this smartphone doesn´t have autofocus. Does it mean that it does not have any kind of focus such as manual?
