I tried to replace my Sony Xperia XZ with a LG Wing 5G. It gave me endless issues from the get go. The classic green-screen issue. So I decided to replace it with a Razer Phone 2. Let's get the unpleasantness out of the way. The camera is crap. The battery is good for moderate use and non-extreme gaming. It doesn't concern me much, I have a mousepad with integrated wireless charging. It runs an older version of Android; so no system wide night-mode. Android 11 is supported only through LineageOS. Apart from this, I absolutely love the blocky design. It's got stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos (it's even better than the XZ) which is a massive bonus. The display is good for what it is, but not the best under direct sunlight conditions (same problem with the XZ). The device's cooling system is impressive in comparison with the Wing and the XZ (both devices gets really really hot, the Wing suffering from hot-spots). It stays responsive under extreme use which is attributed to its 8GB memory. I felt that this device would be a decent replacement for my aging Xperia XZ. A couple of months in, I'm still smiling when I pick up my Razer Phone. I would love to get another one to keep in the cupboard so that if this one fails, I've got another one :)

do not buy this retarded phone. the software is a big joke, the battery
also a joke. I am currently charghing this bs phone and all i see is charghing at 0%. If i remove the chargher it's still charghing at 0%. it has many bugs, crashes, all laggy now( even after hard reset). Its just so bad

This one lasted me a year and a half. Was planning to use this phone for longer. It can no longer make calls, its speakers are greatly damaged. I Will be getting an oneplus 8t soon, hope that one lasts longer.

I had loved it so much but lately the battery run down so fast, the charger and cable no longer works for a week now and the fingerprint sensor just died on me last night. I was using the iPhone 6s for 2 years and will last for 2 more had I not change it to the Razer.

Also they could always put Nova Launcher Prime on Android One. They don't have to deal with the software portion with that option.

I regret writing this, I truly do, but do not buy the Razer Phone 2. It started out quite nicely, with a stunning screen and blistering refresh rate, but two years later it's starting to show its age in the most drastic of ways. I have taken very good care of my phone, mind you, but it's battery life has degraded from 5 hours of hardcore gaming to merely 30 minutes, tops. It cannot charge any other way but wirelessly, due to the corners cut on its USB-C port, which does not work at all, and cannot be replaced by a third party, as they couldn't find the parts, or by Razer's customer service, as they refuse to speak to me after I questioned the fact I needed 100$ for a quote (10 emails, each taking three days between, into our conversation they brought this up) and needed to pay them that via PayPal. I truly regret buying this phone, it is not worth the time or money. Do not let the reviews fool you, it has absolutely no staying power whatsoever.

Freaking awesome. I will never part with it, because the screen is not beat yet neither for form factor, not for speed nor colors. Plus it is ergonomic, not flickering with PWM, unlike all OLEDs that give me red eyes. Basically once you used this screen you vannot go back to the rest of those phones.
Updates are coming, camera issues fixed.
My only gripe is that it does not support LDAC for my SONY headphones, otherwise it would be best in all categories, for my use cases. Please Razer, enable LDAC...all i want for xmas...

Aside from the lack of accesories and an overall not so pleasing look, I'm glad I've bought it. Battery health is at 89% according to AccuBattery after over an year of moderate use and can still stand up to 3 days with minimal use.
