have been using this phone for 1.5 yrs now...display is good....camera is good.....4g is fast...boot time n app launch fast....sound is loud...battery lasts for 24 to 30 hrs...perhaps only lesser on battery!!

Frank, 28 May 2021Do you think this smartphone is still worth it for this yea... moreDefinitely it's a very good device..i am personally using it and Realme has never made me regret my decision..sure you can buy this device but as you can see this device has become a bit old but one thing i can say old is gold haa haa..this device works buttery smooth.sd 712aie it's a damn good processor no doubt but...but i will suggest you to go for narzo 30 pro or any latest device according to your budget because logically if you see Realme 5pro has become a bit backdated..there are so many device getting launched by Realme with the same price segment same as Realme 5pro..so i will suggest you to go for narzo 30pro 5g.. it's a very good device and if you compare narzo 30pro with Realme 5pro then you can understand there is a hell and heaven difference..narzo 30pro beats realme 5 pro in so many features hardware upgrades everything..yes there are few spec which are same but yes one thing i can say go for a latest device..if you talk about 5 series 5 pro is the best and you talk about narzo series narzo 30 pro is the best.

specs wise since i have the 8GB/128GB variant, but the downside is it's not working for VoLTE even my provider supports it, i can't even maximize the Ultra Mode gameplay in Mobile Legends.

I had issuse with screen, need to glue it after 1.5 years off use. My problem was bent frame in pocket, and thats the reason why display came off frame. I tried to glue him back, but not for long. Finally i buy new lcd with frame from aliexpress. And its cool. I have some problems in realme ui 1.0. Its sometimes microfreezes in google chrome. Need to change window, and then it unfreezes. Sometimes need to lock phone and wait to unfreeze it. Hope this freeze will go away in realme ui 2.0
I think this is not my last realme phone

I LOVE this phone. Got it on launch day in Australia (which was October 2019). It was perfect up until about a week ago. The phone didn't charge for the few hours I had it plugged in (never had charging problems before this; it had slowed a bit as the phone got full, but that's expected), and when I tried again, it overheated, gave me a 'phone too hot' warning, suggested I turn down the screen brightness, and so I shut it off to let it cool down. I also unplugged it. The lightning bolt (charging symbol) stays next to the battery percentage even when not plugged in (not supposed to). It still malfunctions today. It doesn't always charge, and requires a reboot to get the charging going. It charges very slowly (I haven't counted but it's at least fifteen minutes for each 1%), turned itself ON after I switched it off, still sometimes gets warm when plugged in (even if off; this never used to happen).
I've only had this phone for a year and a half. All my other phones only started getting problems after 3 years. :( What happened?

Brighter screen than redmi note 7,
faster CPU,
really really good call quality
Bad:
really bad output through the 3.5mm jack.
Accubattery app shows only 3600mah battery. C
amera not impressive.
Fingerprint sensor not very accurate, other phones let you register same finger multiple times, which improves accuracy, but not this one.

Buying this phone is one of best decision for me. Still rockin' after 1.5 years of use. Camera is still good when compared to most 108mp stuff nowadays. Battery capacity is reduced over the year but still very usable, The screen did come off partially from the frame few month ago and need to be glued, but other than that it's still solid. I plan to change the battery and keep using it for another one or two years (hopefully more)before replacing it. Best bang for the buck phone never regret buying it.
